Chapter 45

Josh's face goes pale. I feel the pain in my stomach start to become unbearable. I squat down and josh signals the DJ to stop playing.
The music stops and everyone hovers around me.
"Josh. We got to go." I croak out.
I close my eyes and grab Josh's hand.
My mom takes out her phone. I shake my head.
"I can't wait we got to go." I say.
Josh picks me up and starts walking outside.
I grab the jacket of his tuxedo and crumple it in my hands.
Paige comes running up next to me. She says, "It will be ok."
"We need to go." I say.
I feel the wind from outside brush up against my arms. I shiver.
Josh puts me down on a cold seat. It's his truck. I lay my head against the window and see everyone staring with concerned faces.
I try to smile but feel more pain. I close my eyes and clench my teeth.
Josh closes the door and turns on the car.
"You're mom will be right behind us. Hang in there." Josh says.
I start moaning in pain.
"Ug! Josh please hurry!" I say.
I start clenching the door handle. My knuckles turn white.
I bite the inside of my cheeks so hard they start to bleed.
"Josh! I can't do this! Not today! This wasn't supposed to happen." I cry.
"No! Don't worry about it. We are almost there."
After what felt like 20 years Josh finally opens my car door. I open my eyes and see a nurse with a wheel chair.
Josh picks me up and sets me down in the wheelchair.
I lay my head back and Josh kisses my cheek.
"It's almost here." He says.
I feel my palms staring to sweat. I squeeze Josh's hand as the nurse wheels my down to a room.
They start messing with my stomach.
I see the nurse telling the doctor something and I ask, "What's going on?"
They don't answer. I put my head on the pillow.
"We need to give you a c-section."
"A what?"
"The baby isn't responding well and we need to get it out."
I close my eyes.
They start hooking up all these machines to me and the last thing I remember was someone saying, "Hook her up to oxygen!"////end of chapter 45
