Chapter 5

Chapter 5:

Lexie Pov:

In the morning I woke up on the couch in the living room, where April was also sleeping.

- "Good morning"- I said hoarsely

- "Good"- replied Kepner, in equally weak form - "Do you have such a headache too?"

- "Oh, you don't even know how"- I replied, and we laughed gently - "What time is it?" - I asked after a while

- "After 8" - the redhead replied, getting off the couch - "It's good we have a little bit later today"

- "We'll just manage to get in order and composition" - I replied and we laughed again.

- "First I need something on my head"- she complained to her friends

- "Here"- I gave April the painkiller I had taken from the kitchen cabinet where we were now

- "Thanks" - she thanked, then swallowed the pill and washed down with water. After a while I did the same - "Okay, I'm going upstairs, embrace myself, because I don't want to be late for the ride. I recommend you too" - she added, and we rushed upstairs to our rooms.

As I entered my room, I found my radio under a pile of freshly washed clothes and turned on the music. In her rhythm, I went to the shower, got dressed, combed my hair and made up my makeup, dancing and singing to my favorite songs. After finishing my morning routine, I looked at the watch on my wrist. It showed 10:15.

- "If someone wants a ride to the hospital, I'm leaving in 2 minutes" - my sister announced loudly.

Perfect, Lexie, you made it to the ride, you won't have to walk. I hurried downstairs, grabbed my purse and jacket from the hanger, put on my shoes, and left the house, where I already spotted the rest of my roommates waiting next to the car for Meredith.

- "Hey"- I said to those present.

A moment later Mer came and opened the car.

- "Get in"- she said.

I waited for the rest of the group to pack up and took a seat in the back between April and Jackson.

- "What's up?"- my sister asked out of curiosity

- "Okay"- Kepner and I replied at the same time and smiled each other.

- "I wonder how girls functions" - replied interested in yesterday evening Alex

- "Magical powers"- I answered his doubts

- " And what even happened?"- Meredith asked

- " You don't know?''- said Karev, and my sister gave him a questioning look - "So, yesterday, when Jackson and I were watching a game around 2 and were wondering where our lost princesses were, we heard someone trying to open the door but something to him is not coming out. We decided to open them and we saw a drunk April and Lexie."

- "Oh, how nice you were worried about us"- I replied sarcastically

- "You've been quite drunk, if enough is a lot." - Jackson added - "And it's very puzzling how you function."

- "Women's ways"- Kepner replied to him, and we laughed.

- "Aren't you supposed to be at Mark's dinner?" - Meredith asked me.

I breathed a sigh, if she asks, it means that she doesn't know anything. I looked at April who gave me a supportive look.

- "I was at his place, but I made an appointment with April earlier that we meet with Joe after our dinner." - I replied and sent her a smile so she wouldn't think something had happened.
