Alex Pov:

After Sloan leaves the room:

- "It's sad how much it wrecks them both"- said Kepner

- "Mark's doing better. But it still hurts him, he feels worst about the fact that he can't help her in any way" - Torres said - "I can't imagine what it must be like to watch the person you love suffer."

- "I am sorry for the two of them and I try to identify with them. But can we start doing something about Lexie? When we do that, we will focus on helping them both." - Grey said.

- "I'm listening to you all and I can't believe"- started Derek, who had been silent so far - "First of all, you are arguing about what Lexie feels. Each of you thinks differently. But how do you know what she is feeling? You are not next to her. Even though many of you and I have spoken to her too. But we know perfectly well that Lexie doesn't say everything. Second, you are picking on Jackson for not bringing her home. You didn't ask the details why she didn't want to, maybe she told him? Maybe she confided in him and that's why he didn't take her? Maybe she explained what was going on? The important thing is to respect her requests now, even if they were to left herself. She knows what's best for her. And just like Arizona said, Lex is an adult and will do well. And if you really want to find her, find out what's going on with her. You shouldn't sit here idly and argue, but just start doing what is needed."

- "Let's focus exactly on finding her" - agreed with Shepherd, Owen - "We'll sort out the rest later.

- "I guess you're right"- Mer commented - "Owen, Lexie said she was definitely leaving?"

- "I deduced this from the fact that she was in a hurry for the plane"- he said as he knew - "But I don't know where exactly."

- "I think driving around town now and looking for her like we did last time is pointless" - I expressed my opinion - "I don't think she's lying that she's going somewhere. I even think she was in such a hurry that she just accidentally told Owen."

- "We won't find her at the airport, either" - said Torres - "So many planes have left today that we can't tell where she left"

- "Even if we knew more or less, they would not confirm to us at the airport whether it was true, by the data protection" - Robbins replied.

- "I think the only thing we can do is find out where the departures were this morning and make phone calls to some hotels"- Cristina said.

- "Good idea, maybe we will know a certain area at least" - Mer said.

- "I'm also for continuing to call her, write and so on. Maybe our insistence will make her pick up" - April said.

- "I agree with Kepner"- I replied and gave her a smile. God, what's happening to me lately. I agree with April, it's probably thanks to Lex.

- "Good then: me, Cristina, Meredith, Derek, Callie and Arizona will be calling the airport, hotels" - began to separate the role of Hunt - "And Karev and Kepner will "tire her with the phones.""

Moments later, each of us was on what we were assigned to. April wrote messages, I called from time to time and recorded voice messages. Owen called the airport to ask what flights were departing in the morning. Staff answered our question and we found out there were departures to Portland, Los Angeles, Boise, Las Vegas and San Francisco. The others split up one locality and started off the phone.

I can't count how many hotels, places, people we called at the moment. I don't know how many times it was me and April who called Lexie. After the first missed call, we didn't give up and kept calling. After the tenth we didn't have that much enthusiasm, but we kept making calls. The other group did not do well either. Either the hotel service said they couldn't provide that information or they didn't have such a visitor.

An hour has passed, since then we have been sitting and trying to find out something from a distance. We didn't count on much anymore, but we kept calling, still trying to have some hope. Already reluctantly, I pressed the icon again that showed the number of Little Grey. It was my turn once again. We took turns calling from April, and I started dialing the number, even though the redhead was still waiting for Lex's voice to be heard this happy time. I saw from her face that we were out of luck again. I heard the first beep, the second, the third, and just as I was about to hang up, Lexie's face appeared on my phone screen.

She was somewhere outside and the wind was blowing through her hair. She looked quite annoyed, but she didn't show that much sadness. That's good. In the distance you could hear other people, cars. In the end I breathed a sigh of relief that we had managed to establish some contact with her.

- "Can you stop calling?!" - she asked resentfully.

- "Where are you?" - I asked right away.

- "I'm safe, and that's the most important thing you need to know"- she replied

- "Are you talking to Lexie? Did she pick up from you?" - Meredith asked, excitedly. I signaled her yes. A moment later she was standing next to me, and then she snatched my phone away

- "Jesus! Thank God you're alive! Where you are?"

- "In a safe place"- Lexie replied again.

- "What does it mean? Tell me where you are and we'll come." - Meredith told her younger sister

- "But it's okay. I don't need any help. I feel good here, I take a break from everything." - said Little Grey

- "When are you coming back?" - I asked

- "I do not know. Certainly not this week, I fell in love with this place and I want to use it as long as possible. But I am not gonna stay here forever. I think that in a maximum of 3 weeks I will be back, but I don't promise anything, because I'm finally happy" - she replied, and a small smile appeared on her face.

- "Just take care of yourself" - April said, stepping into the frame.

- "I will" - the brunette replied

- "Maybe after all?" - her sister asked

- "Mer, I'm fine here. I met nice people, I'm going out with them today."

- "You could come out with us too" - said the blonde.

- "I know and I am grateful that I can rely on you. But I couldn't sit in rainy Seattle anymore, and a change of company and surroundings would do me good for a moment." - she announced.

- "As you wish"- she said, not too pleased with the news.

- "Once again, thank you all for this help, but I have to go now, because I'm going to visit the city. Please don't call me anymore. If something happens, I'll call you. And tell Hunt I'll be contacting him this week." - she added and after a moment disappeared from the screen of my phone.

- "I think it's better with her" I said, to ease this uncomfortable atmosphere a little.

- "I don't know what's happening to her anymore ......"- Mer added, and I saw a tear running down her cheek.

Another chapter is behind us!

Lexie finally picks up from Alex. Mer wants her sister back, but Lex is unconvinced. Meredith herself doesn't know what else to do.

How long do you think Lexie will be back? Will she come back by herself or will someone come for  her? If so then who?  So what will happen next?

Be sure to write in the comments what you think about this topic.

I still have a request. Could each of you leave a star under the chapter? Recently, the activity has dropped quite significantly, which means that fewer people read this fan fiction. And I would like as many of you as possible to experience this story with me.If you have an account on Tik Tok, or you also write on wattpad, you can share my fanfiction. It would be very nice! You can also write to me, if you have your fanfiction, I will gladly recommend them on my profile.

Thanks for reading!
