Meredith Pov:
- "Is that wine still in the fridge?" - Lexie asked, who had just entered the house.
- "If no one has drunk it, it is." - I said, entertaining Zole at that time - "Is it true, Zola?"
- "I have it!" - She announced enthusiastically.
- "Aren't you on call tomorrow?" - I asked out of concern
- "I'm not gonna get drunk, just sip my wine while hanging out with my niece." - she announced - "And secondly, less than an hour ago I was locked in the elevator for some time with my ex. I think I need it."
- "You are holding on? You need help?" - I asked as soon as I heard it. I was afraid that she would break down again, then leave and give no sign of life.
- "I'm great, we've cleared up a lot of things. We are probably on a friendly way, which I really wanted." - she started sitting down on the other side of my daughter - "Well, but at the end I had to hit the butt and kiss him. But he said it's nothing like that, so it's cool."
- "And how for yesterday?" - I asked and knew it was a delicate topic.
- "Well. I guess it's good that I know it, because now I know that I have to let go and let us both go."
- "How's Dad?" - I asked
- "I can see Derek tells you a lot,"- she commented and gave the child a smile. - "I don't want to talk about it."
- "I don't know anything for the last few weeks. You're not talking to me, anything. So I have to find out from someone." - I replied.
- "We don't talk because you have a child, you're about to leave your residency, and you have other priorities than comforting your stupid sister who can't cope with breaking up."
- "I will always have time to talk to you. Remember that," - I said and gave her a smile.
- "I know and I love you for it." - She replied with an equal smile - "Yes, Zola, we all love each other here! And we love you too!"
- "How much love,"- Jackson said, entering the kitchen.
- "Oh, you don't have to complain about its shortcomings lately" - I replied - "Both with April of course."
- "Am I saying that we are complaining?" - He asked sarcastically, and Lexie's eyes widened. - "Lexie, we need to talk."
- "We're talking,"- she replied, still busy playing with her niece.
- "You know that's not what I mean. You also know very well what we need to talk about."
- "I see no need, everything is cleared up,"- my sister replied, and I sat confused by all the conversation between the two.
- "Well, it is not. We didn't talk so it couldn't explain itself." - Avery replied.
- "It explained everything last night. Everything is clear to me."
- "What do you mean? What do you need to talk about?" - I asked confused.
- "About nothing!" - They replied at once irritated.
- "Do not shout! The baby is sitting here!" - I replied and turned to Zola - "You see Zozo you want well, and as usual everyone is not nice. Ahh these people," - I added, and my daughter laughed.
- "Oh, Wilson!" - Lexie called to the intern entering my kitchen. - "Alex sent you on a mission hah?"
- "Dr. Grey, I'm so sorry for what happened. It was very unprofessional," - Jo began to explain.
