Derek Pov:

I waited for the door of one of the elevators in a LA hotel to open and thought about the whole situation. About what I should tell Lexie. How to convince one of your sisters to return home.

Of course, before I had time to think about it, the elevator was on the right floor, which meant it was time to get out. I headed for room 245. Halfway down the hall, you could hear music coming from one of the rooms. It was around 11 and people were already partying, I was very impressed hah.

The closer I got to Lexie's room, the more clear and louder the music became. After reaching the door I realized that it was listening from my sister's room. I was wondering for a long time if it was a good idea to go there. I just didn't know what I might find there. Finally, I summoned up my courage and stretched my hand towards the doorknob. My eyes saw Amelia and Lexie dancing in the middle. They jumped, turned. They probably did what Meredith always does when she is sad. If it helps them.

After a while, Lexie noticed me and muted the music. She was in a better mood, but she still did not feel the joyful aura that she always has with her and surrounds everyone with her. But it's understandable everyone has bad days.

- "Don't look at me like that"- Amelia said, raising her arms. - "She made me dance it," she added, pointing at Lexie.

- "I wish I wasn't here so late, I would have danced with you"- I replied, pretending to be sad.

- "Next time you'll catch it"- Little Grey said and gave me a smile. I was happy to see it after so long. It was a sincere smile, without any pretending to be pleased.

- "Maybe I'll leave you two,"- Amy said and began to collect her things. - "You will talk, explain everything and do other stuff,"- she continued. - "Oh and nothing by force, give her some time" - she whispered to me and left the room.

- "Everyone's looking for you,"- I said, after some silence. Lexie had her back to me, staring at the view of the water and the beach outside the window.

- "That it would happen, I was sure" - she replied - "But I told you that there is nothing to worry about and I am safe. I asked you to give me some peace."

- "It wasn't my idea to come here. Honestly, I was one of those people who thought we should leave you." - I replied.

- "Who then? Cause you're here." - she said, turning to me.

Several hours earlier:

Derek Pov:

It was around 7pm when I got a message from Mark that we needed to meet. I had slightly different plans for this evening. I wanted to play with Zola and then spend some time with Mer.

When I heard the sound of the engine under the house, I left as soon as possible and found Mark leaning against his car. He looked serious, and he was happy at the same time. The situation, looking only at his expression, was now quite a mystery.

- "What was so important that you had to come here now? That I can't hang out with my family right now, I just have to watch you?" - I asked sarcastically.

- "Don't whine anymore, just look at this"- he said, and held his phone out to me.

I started watching this video, trying to catch what might be going on.

- "Is my sister there?" - I asked when I noticed someone who looked like Amy.

- "Take a look with who she is there,"- he replied.

- "No, don't say it's her. I have something with my eyes, or is that Lexie?" - I asked in disbelief.

- "Lexie Grey in herself,"- he replied to my suspicions.
