Lexie pov:

I ran back to car as soon as possible. I couldn't watch it. It would be easiest to ignore and forget, but you can't. It is impossible to leave the past when you see something like this. You just can't help but think about it. It is impossible to take your mind the other way when you have witnessed something like this.

I was sitting in the car like that, in tears again. And I wasn't supposed to cry. This day was supposed to be so good. I had a good attitude, I left the past behind to some extent and it was not meant to be. I just wanted to explain everything, but everything in my life is complicated. But why am I crying? If I wasn't going to care. I was supposed to leave it behind me, in a thick black sack. Ahhh, my emotions are too high. How much would I give to turn them off. Humanity is so cruel, ahhh!

The tears wouldn't stop running down my cheeks, and I knew it wasn't a good idea to go back alone like this. I'd still smash Alex's car, or get a ticket for driving a red light. So I decided to call someone. I didn't really want to disturb, but it was probably needed. I dialed the number and counted down the signals.

- "Hey Lexie! What's up?" - I heard my brother's voice on the other side of the phone. - "Lexie? All right?"

- "I don't know"- I said - "Do you have time to pick me up? If not, I will understand, I came by car."

- "Yes, Mer has just returned, so Zola has someone to stay with, but wait, is this something serious? What happened and where are you?"

- "I don't know if it's something serious. I am probably as dramatic as ever, but I am not able to drive now."

- "I understand, don't worry, I'll be there soon. Just tell me where are you?" - he tried to calm me down.

- "I'm next to Mark's apartment ..." - I said - "I'm sitting in the car in the parking lot in front of the blocks."

- "I'll be there in a moment! Wait for me!" - he said and hung up.

- "I'm not going anywhere... I'm not very capable"- I muttered to myself.

Maybe 15 minutes passed when Derek's car pulled up next to the car I was in now. The brunette got out of it and went to the passenger seat in mine.

- "You wanna talk about it?" - He asked

- "When I was in LA, your sister said in one of our last conversations that it is easier to get used to something when you tell someone about it." - I said - "So I want and I have to get used to it."

- "Why are you here?"

- "I was sitting at home and felt the need to clear it all up with him. I wanted to leave this whole row behind me and start over. I wanted both of us to forgive each other." - I explained.

- "Do you want to go back to him?" - he asked me a question that seemed so clear, but really complicated and confusing.

- "Yes, if I had such a chance, I would like it very much. But driving here today I didn't mean to came back to each other. I wanted to close the chapter of the big argument and show him that I am here for him and that he could count on me."

- "What happened in there? What did you see there?" - he asked, and I felt as if a lump suddenly stood in my throat and tears ran down my cheeks at the very thought of it all.

- "He wasn't alone there." - I said it as quickly as I could, as long as I was able to. Shepherd was very surprised and it was obvious he had no idea how to answer that, so I decided to continue while I could - "He was there with some woman. Blonde, tall, well-dressed and pretty" - I added, and my voice was already breaking - "And I guess we know what I saw there."
