Chapter 42

Jackson Pov:

It's been a little over a week since ,,the brawl" between Lexie and April. My girlfriend still wouldn't speak to Lexie. And Grey herself seems to have already given up.

At first the brunette tried to talk to her and so on, but now she walks around her as if she didn't want to disturb April. Nobody but me knew that they were arguing, which made me feel down because I did not know what to do when two girls, friends at the time, argued.

It was lunchtime and I was sitting in a cafeteria with my friends every day, eating a burger I had bought earlier.

- "Have you seen Kepner somewhere?" - Alex asked, sipping his coffee

- "They probably go somewhere with the Three"- told Cristina to which I almost choked on my food. - "What do you shudder so much Mr. Green Eyes?"

- "I swallowed bad,"- I lied, with my mouth full.

- "Not with food in the mouth" - replied slanted-eyed, to which I parody her.

- "Why are you even looking for April?" - I asked Karev

- "You don't have to get jealous,"- he said, and I rolled my eyes.

- "Thank you for the permission,"- I replied sarcastically.

- "Seriously, you have nothing to worry about. I have to do something for one patient. Besides, I'm with Jo." - He informed, and the last thing surprised us a bit.

- "I can't believe Alex Karev is in love hah,"- Meredith said

- "Well, after Izzie, I thought you would always be single." - Yang admitted in sarcasm.

- "Who's in love next?"- Lexie asked as she sat down in the vacant chair.

- "Alex and Wilson are serious business now." - Mer admitted pleased.

- "You too?!" - Little Grey asked

- "What am I too?"

- "You leave me as the only single. Who am I going to sip beer with while the rest are making out with their significant other?" - she asked playfully

- "I will never refuse beer" - admitted the brunette

- "Ahh, you know that's not what I mean,"- Grey grumbled.

- "But you know, you can always become step-mom"- Karev said, and Lexie gave him an ironic smile.

- "I think my position has already been taken by another women from what I know" - she added, and there was a silence at the table - "Ahh, I'm so hungry after so many patients." 

Suddenly I noticed that April was standing by the soda refrigerator, staring directly at us. More on Lexie. Grey noticed this as well, and immediately got up and took her food.

- "Where are you going?" - Meredith asked her younger sister

- "I'm not hungry,"- she said, and walked away from the table, avoiding Kepner.

- "She was hungry just a moment ago,"- Meredith whispered to me, and I raised my arms to show I didn't know what was going on.

- "Ooo Virgin Mary! I've been looking for you!" - Alex exclaimed happily

- "She needs a new nickname because she's not a virgin anymore,"- Yang said sarcastically

- "Well Jackson fucked me and for your information it was great,"- my girlfriend replied, then sat down next to me and gave me a kiss.

- "This was to be expected. Matter of time." - Cristina said.- "You could see your mouth watering at the sight of him." - she added and stuck her tongue out, then moved it.
