Ch. 45: Kakashi and Orochimaru: Face to Face

3rd POV

"No offense, Kakashi, but I didn't come to see you. My business is with that boy behind you and the girl in the preliminary round." Orochimaru hissed out.

Kakashi's glare increases after hearing that he's after y/n too. "What do you want with them?"

"Ha, you've acquired something new. How I envy your good fortune." Kakashi blinks with a gasp. "I don't believe you had it the last time we met. Did you?" He asked him with a sadistic smile, making the Jonin growl. "The gift, the Sharingan in your left eye." He looks pointedly at his covered eye. "It's only fair that I should want it too, the Uchiha power, as well as the l/n power."

Meanwhile, with y/n and her friends...

Everyone is still watching the knocked out Aburame, with a dust cloud floating over him.

Zaku closes his good hand with a smug grin. "All right fool, you had enough?"

'You're the fool, he's just getting started.' The little song girl thought with a half smile.

The dust cloud clears, revealing Shino standing up and hunched over. Zaku is taken off guard from seeing him not defeated.

His eyes fidgets when he sees Shino slowly tilting his upper body up. "He's, there's no way!" All of a sudden, there's a chittering sound. "Hey, what?"

Both Sakura and Naruto look around for the source of that sound, even Zaku's team looks around. Well, except for y/n; who's smile widens cunningly. Back to Zaku, both his eyes widened in horror, for seeing Shino's kikaichu beetles crawling out of a tiny hole on the left side of his cheek bone.

'What the?! He's got bugs coming out of him, like a human hive! This guy's a freak show!' Zaku snaps out of it. "Great, now that you've creeped us all out, what happens next?" All of a sudden, he turns around as quick as a flash spotting hundreds of tiny, black beetles crawling towards him.

Shino lifts up his pointer finger with a single beetle on top of his fingernail. "They're a rare species of parasitic beetle that attack their prey in a swarm, eating its chakra. An army of this size will suck you dry in less than a minute. Your only intelligent option is to forfeit the match. You can't fight two opponents at once. If you use your good arm against me, my friends will swarm you from behind. Conversely, if you use your good arm to keep them at bay, then you'll have me on your blind side. Either way, your defeat will be certain and unpleasant." Shino forms a hand sign near his face. "It's wise to always have an ace in the hole."

Zaku's body shakes with fury, then he remembers his master, Orochimaru. A flashback plays of one of his memories.

Flashback...

"Hey you, come back here!" Younger Zaku appears to be running away from someone. "Where do you think you're going, you little thief?" Two older men are right on his tail. "Grab him somebody! Catch him before he gets away!"

Using quick thinking, Zaku turns right hoping to lose them but, he takes a sharp breath to see a blank wall. "Dead end!" He turns himself around only to see the same men blocking his path.

Zaku backs up a bit with a terrified look on his face. The two guys take a step forward with malicious smirks adorned on their faces. Zaku watches as they gang up on him and screams out loud excruciatingly.
