3rd POV

The song girl's group is still on their way to Sasuke. They either hop or swing on the branches.

"I sense that Sasuke has stopped moving, but he's still a long way ahead of us." Pakkun informed them.

Naruto is quick on his feet. 'If Sasuke's stopped, it must mean he's caught up to them. Come on!'

The little pug's nose smells something in the air. "Did I just smell what I think I smelled?" He pauses on a branch and sits on it.

Both the girls halt on a tree branch behind the dog's.

Naruto also stops on the same branch next to Pakkun with a crouch. "Huh? What is it? What's wrong?"

"What is it? You smell some kind of trouble?" Sakura asked him this time.

'Oh, there'll be trouble all right.' Y/n thought, looking to the side.

The ninja dog sniffs some more. "Strange, I never noticed it before." The two get anxious except for the s/c girl. "Sakura, did you know you use the same shampoo as I do?"

The pinkette becomes stunned as her whole body turns white as a ghost. Y/n bites her lips in order to not show her smile.

The dog's nose wiggles and he gives her a knowing smile. "Minty Rainforest Mist right? With extra body?"

"What?! Are you kidding me?!" Naruto's hand closes into a shaking fist.

"But I wonder why my coat looks so much glossier than yours." The little canine's tone sounded a bit conceited.

Poor Sakura, she was gonna collapse if y/n hadn't stepped in and caught her.

"Knock it off, will ya?! It's no time to be talking about hair products!"

"Sorry, just making an observation."

"I smell like a dog." She said feeling depressed.

Y/n chips in. "But a very clean dog."

All Sakura did was repeat the same words like a mantra.

Noticing the state she's in, Naruto calls her, "Uh Sakura?"

She ignores him and like a zombie, she continues to leap on other branches in a lopsided way and mutter the same words over and over again. Y/n is right on her tail to make sure she doesn't do anything out of hand.

"Gah, look what you've done. Sakura!" He follows after them.

"Where are you going? You won't get very far without me!" Pakkun makes a far jump with his paws.

With Sasuke and the sand team...

Kankuro sneaks a glance at his brother with a worried frown. 'Oh man Gaara, where are you when we need you? You picked a lousy time to be out of commission. This Uchiha kid is trouble.' He turns back to Sasuke's smug face. "So, what're you gonna do, huh?"

He is caught off guard when his sister leaped up in the air. "Go Kankuro! Get Gaara away from here." She throws down three kunais towards the dark haired boy's head.

Within distance, Sasuke moved his head by an inch and the kunais ended up lodged in the bark.

Using her hands, she swings her whole body around a large branch and stands on it. "I'll take care of this one."

"Don't be a fool, Temari. This kid's too much for you to handle all by yourself."

"Don't argue! Our mission is to make sure that Gaara is safe. He's our first and only priority." She told him firmly and peers back at her enemy. "Don't worry about me. This is what I've been waiting for." She smirks at him but Sasuke glares right back at her. "Get going, Kankuro."
