Ch. 29: Chunin Challenge: Rock Lee vs. Sasuke

Your POV

We finally arrive inside a big spacious room when we hear a voice call out to us.

"Hey you! With the attitude!" I turn my head while the others kept on walking. "Hold on!"

The rest of my group turn around questionably, seeing nothing behind them. I intentionally smiled, knowing who it is and looking up to find Lee on the balcony.

"What do you want?" Duckie rudely asked.

Lee frown and exclaim, "I want to fight. Right here and right now!"

"You want to fight me here and now huh?" Duckie squinted his eyes.

"Yes!" Lee leaps over and drops all the way down on a crouch. "My name is Rock Lee, you said it was common courtesy for a challenger to give his own name first. Right, Sasuke Uchiha?" Lee asked, pointing at Duckie.

A shadow cast over Duckie's eyes. "Hm, so you know me?"

The bowled cut ninja gets into his battle stance. "I challenge you! Everyone is always talking about the Uchiha clan, and how great they are. I want to see if it is true, I figured you would be a good test for me. And also..." He suddenly faces me blushing, making me widen my e/c eyes. "Oh y/n, I love you!"

My s/c face suddenly feels hot from his confession. I put my d/h hand on my fast beating heart feeling a bit overwhelmed and flattered that he would feel this way about me.

'Did he just say, what I think I just heard?!'

Too speechless to even say anything, I hear my friends yell out in disbelief. In the corner of my eye, I see PB shivering in disgust.

'I don't find anything wrong with him, I think he's cute.'

"You are an angel, sent from heaven." He winks out a heart and blows it to me.

I grinned a happy grin and reach out my hands towards it, until Naru pushes me out of the way making me miss it.

"Ah! Naruto!"

"Don't you give n/n chan your disgusting hearts weirdo!" Naru shouted at him.

"That was a good move, but let me see you dodge this." He keeps blowing kisses towards me.

Everytime I try to catch one, either Naru pushes me, Haku freezes them, or PB pulls my arm.

"Hey, keep your creepy little Valentine's to yourself! I was helping y/n dodging for her life back there!"

Lee deflates sadly, "You don't have to be so negative Sakura."

Having enough of this nonsense, I yell out, "Fine! Since you guys won't let me catch any of them, I'll just send him one of my own!"

"No y/n no!!!" They yelled out to me, with their eyes fully white.

"Too late!" I quickly blow one to Lee before any of them can stop me.

As it floats closer to Lee, a kunai zooms by and pierces it against the wall. My body shakes in anger as I slowly turn to the culprit.

"SASUKE!!!" Behind my back, I secretly sent another heart to Lee, this time he successfully caught it.

Sasuke just looks away with his eyebrow twitching.

He coldly says, "You've heard of the Uchiha clan and yet you're challenging me? You must be even more psycho than you look, if that's possible. You want to know more about my clan, then I'll teach you the hard way."

Lee smirks, "Bring it on!"

Right away, Naru shouts, "Hold it!" Everyone and I glance at him, surprised. "I get him first, this weirdo is mine."
