Your POV

At the bridge...

As we are having a stare down with Cowprint and Haku, Mr. Kaka breaks the tension.

"Well well, so I had it right. It was all an act."

"An act?" Tazuna asked.

"With a cute little mask."

PB's face becomes shock while Duckie says, "Big phony. Heh."

"So I guess all that about being a tracker ninja protecting his village was just a bunch of bull."

"You can say that again Old Man." I said.

"They look pretty chummy to me. I'd say they'd been pulling scams like that for a long time." Sensei observed.

PB got mad and angrily said, "He's got some nerve facing us again after pulling that trick."

"And hiding behind a mask, who does he think he's fooling?"

"Um, well..." I started.

But PB finishes off with, "Speak for yourself, Sensei."

Duckie coldly says, "That's it. I'm taking him out. Who does he think he's fooling? Hiding behind that mask like some sort of clown."

"Sasuke, you're so cool." PB fangirled with a blush.

I turn my head towards Sensei to see him looking a bit dejected. I pat him on the arm to show my sympathy.

"There there."

He looks back at me with a hint of a smile behind his mask. I smiled back at him not seeing the jealousy glares coming from our opponents. Suddenly, I heard a whirl wind coming from in front of us. I face forward and see Haku spinning around at a fast pace towards Duckie.

"What's this?!" Duckie asked.

As Haku comes closer, Duckie quickly brings out both of his kunai knives and blocks the masked ninja's attack matching his speed.

"Sakura, y/n, cover Tazuna and stay close to me. Let Sasuke handle this." Sensei instructed us.

We did as we were told and stayed close to the old man. It is amazing to see such speed in a fight up close. Well, I know that there will be more where that came from in the future. Soon, their fight stops abruptly with one weapon being held against the other. I can see their fists shake trying to overpower the other.

"We want the bridge builder and the seer not you. If you back down, I won't have to kill you." I heard Haku's monotone voice.

From the side view, I saw Duckie's reaction from furious to cocky in an instant.

"Save it." He smirks.

"You're making a mistake. You won't be able to keep up with my speed. I've gained two key advantages."

"Yeah? What are they?"

'Oh no.'

"First, we're surrounded by water. Second, I've locked one of your hands. Therefore, you only have one free hand to defend yourself." With that, he forms a hand sign in front of where his mouth is supposed to be with only one hand.

"That's not good." I muttered.

Haku then continues to perform the rest of his jutsu.

"Secret Jutsu: A Thousand Needles of Death." He stomps his foot against the water making it go up and float around them.

"Sasuke!" PB called out.

"Get out of there! Unless you want to be pierced through like a kabob dish then, I suggest getting your emo butt out of there!" I yelled out.
