Ch. 50: Surprise Attack! Naruto's Secret Weapon!

3rd POV

Kiba points at him with a crazed smirk, "You're kidding, you're a real glutton for punishment, aren't ya?" Naruto does not falter his grin, wiping the smirk off his face. "Okay, it's your funeral. I'm gonna make sure you don't get up again. Let's go Akamaru!" They both gang up on Naruto.

"How many times are you gonna use that move?" Naruto scoffs a bit.

About to swing his claws, "Just once more!" Both of them spin themselves into two drills.

Waiting for the right moment, Naruto jumps up dodging them except, the two drills unexpectedly spin up and hit him along the way. As Naruto drops down to the ground painfully, the two Kibas stop their jutsu and land on all fours, skidding to a halt.

Naruto sits back up thinking, 'Man, they're fast.'

Then, Kiba throws his two smoke grenades towards the Uzumaki. The bombs explode again creating the familiar purple smoke and hiding Naruto from everyone's view.

"Fang Over Fang!" With that command, both he and his dog drill their way to the smoke trap.

Within the smoke, Naruto is quick on his feet to avoid their multiple attacks.

He is having a hard time breathing in air as he notices, 'The same trick as before, and it's working just like before! It's like fighting in the dark. Gotta find a way out. Or else—'

The two finally stop and leap back outside the smoke bomb. Once the smoke goes away, Naruto gets back up, wiping his bloody mouth.

"Ha! Looks like you've run out of gas, kid." Kiba taunted him.

Naruto gets into his fighting position with both hands into fists. "Yeah? Bring it on dog breath cause no matter how many clones of yourself you make, I'll still have enough gas to beat you!"

'Oh how right he was, and literally.' Y/n thought with a giggle.

Both Haku and Sakura heard her giggling, and Haku asks her curiously, "What's so funny?"

She shakes her head a little in amusement, "It's nothing, nothing."

"Ha! You always got a snappy comeback. Let's see you come back from this! Ready Akamaru?" His look alike growls in confirmation.

Then, they speedrun to Naruto again, and like last time, he repeats throwing his smoke grenades. Naruto this time is prepared for it and stays still, letting the smoke hide him once again. Both Kibas perform their jutsu again and spin their way to their opponent.

"Gotta find a way to counterattack." His cerulean eyes roam back and forth for any incoming attacks.

Same with the method, Kiba and Akamaru spin all over the place through the smoke cloud.

'Problem is, I don't know which one to attack! Which one's the real Kiba? I can't tell them apart.' He grinds his teeth in frustration, trying to avoid them as much as he can.

Above the battle, Sakura clamps her hands together feeling worried for her teammate. "What's going on? I can't see." Y/n calmly rubs her back for reassurance as she still watches the battle.

Hinata is even more worried than the pink haired girl. 'Oh, Naruto.' She looks away, not wanting to see more of Kiba's offensive attacks.

Back to the knucklehead, his blue eyes widen from a sudden idea that pops into his head. 'Wait a second. That's it!' Right away, he forms a hand sign and yells out, "Transform!"

The two spinning Kibas turn themselves around before aiming their last hit to the blonde. "Here we go!"

On close proximity, they abruptly stop when they see who is behind the smoke. The room is completely silent, as they apprehensively wonder why they stopped.
