Ch. 63: He Flies! He Jumps! He Lurks! Chief Toad Appears!

3rd POV

Naruto lays flat on the toad's head. He sighs in relief of saving his own life as well as seeing the song girl okay herself.

He then gazes up at the giant bear in disbelief. "Y/n chan! Are you okay?!"

The h/c haired girl cups her mouth with her hands and yells out, "Yeah, we're alright! How about you?"

"I am a-okay!" He said with a relieved smile. "That was close. Glad I got saved. Of course I could have done without the falling on my neck part." He said to himself as he sat up rubbing his neck. "Look at that! Awesome! Man, that is humongous!" He looks around the toad's body in amazement. "Wait, hold on here."

He crawls all the way to the toad's ear and stares at his webbed hand and foot. "What's that? This is a toad, isn't it?" He carefully stands up and jogs down the amphibian's back.

He let out a startled yell when he almost slipped. "Let's see here." He enthusiastically points down to the toad's butt with an open grin. "There's no tail there!" He clenches both of his hands excitedly and chortles. "I did it! I didn't summon this or this!" He exclaimed, picturing his past failures. "It's really a real toad!"

Above them all, Jiraiya and Himitsu both peer down the rocky cliff looking amused yet amazed.

Jiraiya mentally chuckles. 'Looks like he released the chakra of the Nine Tailed Fox all on his own this time. But still, I certainly can't say that he's proficient at it yet. He overdid it with the chakra's power, to have summoned him of all things.'

Himitsu's lips curl up from the sight of the bear of legend. 'I knew she could do it. All it takes is a little push and big bang boom, Ursa Major appears. I just hope she takes it easy with the kid. I remember my experience.' She mentally shivers. 'It's all up to you now.'

With Naruto, he is sitting down on the amphibian's head patting down his red skin.

He laughs joyously, "I finally pulled it off!"

Not taking this lightly, the voice of the giant toad bounces off the walls. "Why you little snot!" He moves his body, causing the boy to lose his balance and tumble down his huge back.

As soon as he landed, Naruto turns around and yells upon seeing the toad chief's glare.

The chief squints his yellow eyes at the lad who is on his nose. "You little snot! Just whose head do you think you're dancing around on top of anyway? Well let me tell you, I am the wise and powerful Lord Gamabunta, the Chief Toad; and you're an idiot!" He tilts his huge head making Naruto fall off. "Now shut up!!!" Naruto hangs on to the edge of the pipe, feeling Gamabunta's breath blowing him away.

When the chief closes his mouth, Naruto strenuously climbs up the pipe. "What is this guy? He seemed cool but, give me a break here!" He screams when the toad moves his pipe straight up.

"Just when I finally get to breathe some fresh air again, I find some weird kid tap dancing on my head!" He swings his pipe back and forth as he calls out, "Hey Jiraiya! Where are you Jiraiya? Just what do you think you're doing?" He ends it with a thunderous yell.

"That's my cue. Let me know when you want to date." Jiraiya said to the kunoichi.

The ginger haired lady scoffs at him, "In your dreams." Jiraiya soon disappears from her side, only to reappear behind a tree. "Scaredy cat." She muttered with a smirk.

The old man secretly takes a peek at the cliff. "Well, this doesn't look good. Even I'm not able to handle Gamabunta. I mean, he's a real handful." He said with a sigh.
