when you first saw me

Jimin's eyes widened at what Jungkook revealed to him. They are at their favourite place to hang out before their last game of the season. They usually go there to eat and talk about anything they want before they have their last game to wind down.

However, their topic that day is a bit surprising to Jimin because they are talking about Chaeyoung.

"So, you want to tell me that my best friend was in Seoul for a week when she was in her aunt's care?", Jimin asks in disbelief.

"Yes, she was and she stayed at the same orphanage with me.", Jungkook admits without hiding anything from him.

Jimin frowns before asking, "Why she got sent there?"

Jungkook nods his head before he continues to explain, "Chaeyoung's relationship with her aunt wasn't good at that time. Her aunt...hated her so..when her family had a vacation in Seoul...she left Chaeyoung at the orphanage where Ms Jo, her friend worked at. But after a week, she came back and took her back to Busan with her."

For the second time, Jimin's eyes grow wide in surprise with Jungkook's explanation.

"Why did she do that?!", Jimin raises his voice before Jungkook covers his mouth.

"Don't be angry. She's not like that anymore, hyung.", Jungkook says while moving his hand away from Jimin's mouth.

"But, still..why? She was just a kid and she just lost her family at that time...", Jimin has tears in his eyes as he thinks of Chaeyoung's past.

Jungkook shakes his head at that question. To be honest, he does not know the real reason but he talked about it with Chanyeol before.

"Probably because she's jealous. Chaeyoung's dad is her younger brother and from what her son said, she probably hated Chaeyoung because of him. Her parents loved him more than her and gave him everything he needed until he could open a business in Busan. That's all I know.", Jungkook tells Jimin what he heard from Chanyeol.

"Just because of that, Chaeyoung got treated that way? She's not even doing anything wrong yet..."

"Hi, guys!", the greetings startled the two friends.

Both of them turn to the voice and sees Lisa with her wide smile standing in front of their table.

"Hey..", Jimin awkwardly greets her back.

"Hi, Lis. You came.", Jungkook says as he moves to give the empty space for Lisa.

However, Lisa chooses to sit next to Jimin and quickly makes an order when the waiter comes to the table. Then, she looks at the two guys who are suddenly quiet after she arrived. She claps her hands to them who reacted with blinking their eyes on her.

"What's up? I saw you two were talking just now before I came here. What's the sudden silence?", Lisa asks in curiosity. "Am I not allowed here? You two were talking dirty, is it? Or discussing something important that I cannot know?", she asks them in eagerness.

Both Jimin and Jungkook shake their heads to Lisa's questions.

"Not like that. Just...I suddenly feel weird. Lis, you're my friend and I told you to come here but you chose to sit next to Jimin hyung?", Jungkook is the first one to speak with Lisa.

His words make Lisa to look at Jimin quietly. He can see Jimin gulps down as if something is wrong.

"Well...JK, it's not like I only know you here. Jimin oppa has become my friend too. You know that, right?", she responses with putting her arm on Jimin's shoulder like friends would do.

Jungkook looks at the awkwardness between his two best friends in front of him. Lisa tries to act normally with Jimin but Jimin seems to be stiff beside her.
