I'll talk to her

"Don't get excited, don't get excited, please don't, dear self.", Chaeyoung reminds herself as she waits for Jungkook to come.

He texted her that he will fetch her at 7 in the evening so she has gotten nervous the whole day. She thought he will come to her house in the morning like he usually does. But, he said he could not come that morning so he will make it up at night instead.

"Chaeng, he's here.", the sudden voice that comes from the front door startled Chaeyoung who is waiting at the living room.

"Unnie, you're early today.", Chaeyoung says to the elder who walks to sit beside her.

"Mmhmm, I left after training the new staff. Jungkook's already outside, by the way.", she tells the younger who seems tensed beside her.

A notification sound interrupts and Chaeyoung quickly looks at her phone.

Jungkook: Hey, Chaeyoung. 🤗 I'm here.

"Jungkook?", Jisoo asks with a raised brow.

"He didn't ring the bell?", Chaeyoung says as she gets up and looks at herself for the last time.

Jisoo says that he met her in front so he already told her to tell Chaeyoung about his appearance. She giggles as she looks at Chaeyoung turning left and right just to check her outfit. She wears a NASA logo printed white shirt and a pair of blue jeans that is a little ripped around the thigh part.

"Chaeyoung-ah.", Jisoo calls her name.

"Yes.", she quickly looks up to Jisoo.

"You look good. Just...maybe you want to take a jacket. It can be cold later at night.", Jisoo tells her since she looks insecure with her outfit.

"Oh...jacket.."

Jisoo hands her own black jacket to her, "Here, use mine. Don't go looking in your room. You might be late and make Jungkook wait longer."

Chaeyoung takes the jacket with a smile. "Thanks, unnie. I'll go now. See you later.", she says before she heads outside to see Jungkook.

With the jacket hanging in her arm, she walks outside and greets Jungkook who is leaning against his car busy with his phone in his hand. When Chaeyoung says hello to him, he looks up to see her and quickly puts his phone in his back pocket.

"Hey, Chaeyoung. You look...cool in those.", he is actually quite shocked to see her in that ripped style of pants.

"Does it mean good?", she asks him as she looks at herself back.

Jungkook nods slowly, "Yes, you're looking good. Different from your usual style." He gives an honest answer since he only used to see her in track pants or regular jeans whenever he comes to see her.

"I bought it long time ago but I never wear it before this.", she tells him as he leads her to the passenger side.

"I like it. I mean..I like to see you in this kind of style.", Jungkook smiles as he opens the door for her.

"Same goes for me. I like to see you in that shirt.", Chaeyoung says before she gets inside the car.

Jungkook smiles wider as he looks at Chaeyoung putting on the seatbelt in the buckle. "You bought it for me though.", he says before he closes the door making Chaeyoung realized something. He wears the yellow shirt she bought for his birthday. She slightly smiles at the realization before Jungkook gets inside to the driver's seat beside her.

The restaurant looks elegant from outside and Chaeyoung was expecting that it is not crowded with people in there. However, her expectation is totally wrong when they finally step inside the restaurant. Looks like there are quite a number of people in there and that worries her a bit.
