Jungkook makes a sudden visit to Jimin's house two days after the day he met Rosé. He tells the elder that he wants to watch the last match of their rival for the champion of the league at his house. However, Jimin knows that Jungkook has something in his mind that he wants to talk with him.

"So, you know I'm here for something else, hyung.", Jungkook starts to talk when Jimin has seen him being a bit out of his usual character.

He tried to act like nothing happened when he met Chaeyoung yesterday and today's morning. But, what happened to her two days ago makes him grow even more curious of her. He knows there is no way he will get anything from Chaeyoung because she does not remember what Rosé did. He does not want to be direct with her to ask if she knows Jimin. He is worried if it will just make her angry and Rosé appears again.

"Is this about Chaeyoung?", Jimin asks.

Jungkook nods as he looks at Jimin, "You said her full name even though I didn't tell you about it. Do you know her, hyung?"

Jimin slowly nods admitting that he knows Chaeyoung. "We were friends...I knew her since she was 4. She's my neighbour living next door in Busan. A year later, I got accepted to the football academy and we rarely get to meet since I had to go to Seoul to attend the academy. When I came back for holiday, we met again and I promise her that we will never be apart even if we are far from each other. So, she made a friendship bracelets for both of us and I wear it always until it got worn out.", he tells Jungkook about him and Chaeyoung.

"When she was 6...her parents and sister died in a car crash leaving her alone. I came back to Busan to give my last respect to them since her family was close to me too. Two days later, her uncle and aunt came to take care of her but...she will have to leave Busan with them. They live in Jeju so they want to take her there but I still remember that night Chaeyoung came to my house and cried the whole night beside me and my mom. She didn't want to go and asked us to help her.", he pauses as he remembers the sadness Chaeyoung had that day.

"You know my parents are just a mere worker at a mall, right? So, my mom couldn't say anything even though I begged her to do something to help Chaeyoung. That night, she cried until she fell asleep till the morning. Her uncle and aunt came to fetch her at our house and that was the last time I saw her. I still remember what she said to me. 'Oppa, you forgot your promise. You're not even wearing the bracelet anymore. I hate you.' She said those words to me.", Jimin takes a sip of water after he is done with the old story.

Jungkook does not know how to react to it. He feels sad that the friendship of them ends that way. He feels sad that Chaeyoung lost her family at once when she was just a kid.

"So, I think she must've been hating me till now. That's why she acted that way that day.", Jimin adds as he waits for Jungkook's response to him.

"No, hyung. Maybe she's just shocked to see you again. It's been so long, right?", Jungkook believes that Chaeyoung is not hating Jimin. After he listened to Jimin's story earlier, he knows that the two must be so close back then. Maybe she thinks of him as a brother she never had, and so is he, Chaeyoung is the little sister he never had. "Do you want to meet her again, hyung?", Jungkook asks the elder.

A nod is given before he speaks up, "She was my best friend, Kook. Of course I'd love to meet her again. But, only if she's not hating me."

Jungkook shakes his head trying to convince Jimin that Chaeyoung does not hate him.

"I'll talk to her. I'm sure she wants to meet you too.", Jungkook tries his best to cheer Jimin up.

When Jimin starts to chuckle, he knows that he managed to cheer the elder up or so he thought.
