The journey back to the penthouse is so quiet until they reach the elevator to get to the 27th floor. It is Jungkook that starts the conversation with her by apologizing if she hates what he is doing. But, Chaeyoung remains silent until the elevator opens for them.

"We don't have to talk about them if you don't want to.", he tells her as he lets her walk first. "I'll burn the file, all the documents...", he stops when Chaeyoung turns around and puts up her hand in front of him.

"We'll talk about it. Come on.", she tells him as she takes his hand and pulls him to walk faster to get to his penthouse.

When they get inside, Chaeyoung breathes in and out to calm herself down before she starts to talk about the siblings. She has been trying to hold herself from letting Rosé take over her body since at the petrol station. She does not want Rosé to defend her this time because she knows that she will need to face this matter by herself when the time comes.

Jungkook goes to the kitchen for a while and gets a cold water bottle with two empty glasses before going to sit across her at the living room.

"What is this for?", Chaeyoung asks as he pours the cold water into the glasses.

"To drink. You seem anxious so I think this could help.", he tells her as he hands her the glass but she just looks at it. "Hoseok hyung told me to drink water when I have anxiety attack or if I get panic.", he reasons out to her.

"You get panic attack too?", she asks him back as she takes the glass of cold water from him.

Jungkook nods his head, "During my first match ever, I sweat all over my body even before I go into the field." He chuckles remembering the first time he got a chance to play in the first team of his squad.

"Okay, thanks.", Chaeyoung does not laugh since she is trying to remain calm. She takes a sip of the water and puts the glass down on the coffee table in front of her. Then, she asks him if he is ready to know everything she wants to tell him about herself.

"Yeah, whenever you want to start.", he replies.

"Alright. So...the siblings. They're my cousins.", she begins. "Park Chanyeol and Park Sooyoung who..I last saw 7 years ago.", she adds.

Jungkook stays quiet and just nodding to her words as a response.

"I lived with them and...their parents, my uncle and aunt in Jeju.", she says to him. "But I ran away right after I did my final exam.", she continues slowly. "You must be wondering why I ran away, right?", she asks him.

A nod is given before Chaeyoung tells him, "Living with them was hell for me. So, I ran away from home. Technically Rosé was doing it because I was too scared to do it myself. And then, I met Jisoo unnie and Jin oppa. They came to Jeju for their college trip and took me away from there with them, thanks to oppa for his cleverness to hide me in the bus with them."

"He helped you to hide?", Jungkook questions as he thinks how Seokjin did it.

"He's the leader that took care of all the students in the bus so he managed to tell them that I'd be coming along but he also told them not to tell the lecturers. Then, he fooled the lecturer so I could hop in and stayed with unnie and him at the back.", she tells him how she successfully ran away from her relatives.

"Why...did you say it's hell to live with your relative? You started to stay with them after your family's death, am I right?", he asks her.

Chaeyoung admits, "Jimin oppa told you?"

Jungkook gives a nod to her.

"It was all good at first even though I had trouble to adapt to the new place. I had no friends there and I only knew them. Then, everything changed when my family lawyer came to visit me. I don't know much at that time but when Rosé appeared in my life, she told me why my uncle and aunt treated me so well. Turned out my family has left me with some inheritance money and a big amount of insurance for the accident that took them away from me. My uncle remained good to me but my aunt didn't. She got tired of acting all nice with me and I heard that she hated me and my parents. She was glad to know they died but a bit irritated that they left me to be cared by them. Since the day I found out about that, she abused me and began telling me to do the house chores for her. Meanwhile my uncle...he let her do what she wants. What's worst is she didn't let me interact with her children anymore. They didn't play with me, eat with me, or go to school with me. I was transferred to another school which was a bit further than theirs. Because of that, I became a timid person. I didn't befriend anybody except Junhoe.", Chaeyoung stops until that point.
