Chaeyoung pulls the curtains to each sides of the sliding doors as she waits for Jungkook to arrive that morning. As she heads back to the sofa, she hears muffled noise from outside so she turns around to see what made the indistinct sound. She looks around before she realized where the sound comes from.

"Chaeyoung!!", Junhoe shouts from the second floor of his house.

Chaeyoung opens the sliding door a bit and waves back at him who is working out using his exercise bicycle. He smiles as he waves back to her and slows down on cycling the stationary bicycle. "Good morning, Chae!", he shouts again greeting her.

"Morning, June!", she replies before she hears the bell of her house is ringing. Because of that, she mouthed at him that she has to go and then, she leaves to the front door. Junhoe moves himself forward to see why she left and sees a man holding a cat house entering her house.

"I think I heard your voice shouting earlier, Chaeyoung.", Jungkook says as he follows her to get inside her house.

"Oh, yeah. I greeted my neighbour. You can see him up there.", Chaeyoung casually tells as she points to the sliding door that is left opened a bit earlier.

While Chaeyoung goes to the kitchen, Jungkook walks to the sliding door and slowly looks up to see the neighbour she mentioned. His eyes widened when he sees a man in a sleeveless shirt and knee-length training shorts looking back at him with a glare. He quickly closes the sliding door and pulls the curtain to cover it before trying to see the man again.

"Jungkook, why do you pull the curtain?", Chaeyoung's voice startled him.

"Oh, the sun is shining too bright. It'll be too hot if both curtains are opened.", he makes an excuse as he tries to see the man living next door again. "Did my eyes see wrongly?", he whispers to himself thinking why her neighbour glared at him earlier before Chaeyoung walks towards him.

"Oh, he's gone. He was there exercising.", Chaeyoung says before she invites Jungkook to have breakfast with her.

"Did she just watched him exercising?", Jungkook questions slowly before he pulls down his hoodie and follows Chaeyoung to sit at the loveseat to watch the TV while having breakfast.

They are quiet as they eat their cereals while watching the cartoon show in the morning. Both of them rarely speak unless they want to add their cereals or they are done eating. The routine to have breakfast together has been always the first thing they will do when Jungkook comes with their cats.

Chaeyoung, herself has gotten more comfortable with him as days go by that it makes him wonder if he can talk about personal things with her. He always wanted to know when and why she has those alters in her body. He never asks about them to her even though he meets those alters sometimes. He tries to keep everything normal between them so he never brings up the question to her.

"Jungkook?", the finger snaps from Chaeyoung in front of his face makes him realized that he was lost in his own thoughts. "Are you okay? You haven't even laugh a little to the show.", she asks him as their eyes meet.

"Yeah..I'm okay. Really.", he answers with a nod.

But, Chaeyoung is not satisfied with his answer. She moves her head blocking his view and analyses his face. She slowly moves her head closer to his as she tries to spot a difference on his face.

"Urm, Chaeyoung.", Jungkook slowly moves himself back from her. "What are you doing?", he asks as his back reaches the hard back of the sofa.

"Is there something in your mind?", she asks him as she backs away a little from him.

His brows raised in confusion, "What?"

"There's a thin line of frowning on your forehead. You didn't laugh like you usually do. Do you want to tell me why?", she asks him as she relaxed back to her seat next to him. She wonders what is in his mind at that time. She can feel that he is not acting like his usual self.

"Oh...no, nothing."

"Are you tired? You should stay home if you are.", she cuts him off getting worried of him.

Jungkook shakes his head. "No, I'm not tired. Just...I...I'm wondering...how long have you got a new neighbour next door, Chae?", his mind is quick to create a question to her. Well, he was thinking of that neighbour too a while ago. So, he picks that topic to talk with her instead of the one that has been lingering on his mind since they started to be friends.

"Oh...you haven't seen him yet before this. He's been here since two weeks ago, Jungkook.", Chaeyoung tells him. "He's my old friend from Jeju. His name is Koo Junhoe and he's of the same age like us. Maybe I can introduce you to him. Is it okay if I introduce you to him?", she adds without Jungkook having to ask further.

His shocked expression knowing Junhoe is her old friend is quickly replaced with a head shake.

"Did you tell him about me?", he gets worried if someone he does not know know about his friendship with her.

"No, I don't. Plus, he's a busy person. I only saw him twice since he got here. Oh, make it thrice.", she corrects herself as she remembers the third time she saw Junhoe earlier.

Jungkook rubs his chest in relief before Chaeyoung chuckles at him.

The ringtone of the phone makes Junhoe sick of it but he could not ignore the call. He has specified that ringtone to one person and he has no other choice but to answer the call. "Yes, hyung.", he says as he picks up the call from the manager of the gymnasium he works at.

"Koo Junhoe, where are you? Did you forget that you have an appointment today?!", the voice raised at the end makes Junhoe moves his head away a little from his phone.

"Ahh...the new client, is it?", he asks back.

"Yes, June-ya. I've told you many times about it. Why you still not here? I'm monitoring the CCTV now and I know you aren't here, bro.", the manager says from the other end. He seems mad with Junhoe but he still tries to keep calm while talking to the younger man.

Junhoe chuckles a bit knowing that Hanbin will look for him. Hanbin is not the manager if he does not do his work. He is serious at his work even with his own friend like Junhoe.

"I'll be there. Give me 15 minutes.", Junhoe replies as he checks the time on the clock.

"Okay, I give you 15 minutes starting now. Hurry up before she arrives here, Koo Junhoe.", Hanbin says as he starts a timer for Junhoe to beat.

"Yes, Kim Hanbin sajangnim. I'll be there in 14 minutes 47 seconds from now.", Junhoe jokes around before he hangs up.

Then, he lets out a long sigh before he turns to see the house next to his. "I still can't hangout with you yet. Sad life.", he says before he goes to his bedroom to change his clothes.
