SPLIT (COMPLETED)

for the second time

Chaeyoung is checking her finished artwork for a new client when her phone rings beside the laptop on the coffee table. She takes the phone and looks at the name on the screen. She smiles as she sees Jisoo's name on it.

"Annyeong, Jisoo unnie.", Chaeyoung greets the elder as she answers her call.

"Yah...Chaeyoung-ah, did you forget your own house?", Jisoo replies with a sad tone, Chaeyoung can imagine her pouting while saying that.

A giggle escaped Chaeyoung's mouth before she is able to answer, "Unnie...I really want to go back but maybe not for now. I still need..."

"Yah, you've been staying at Jungkook's place for a week! That's enough hiding, Chaeng!", Jisoo cuts her off before Chaeyoung hears a laugh at the background.

Chaeyoung chuckles before responding, "Is that Jin oppa with you?"

Jisoo makes a gasping sound as she turns to Seokjin and signals him to keep his mouth shut.

"You're not even alone there. Why you need me back at home?", Chaeyoung asks in a teasing manner.

Jisoo shakes her head and tells her, "Jin is not always here. He just dropped by to give me something. Now, he's leaving me again. It's Sunday, Chae. Can we at least meet and go shopping or something? I'm bored..."

"Hmm...I don't plan to go anywhere for now, unnie. How about you come here? I'll tell Jungkook you'll be accompanying me. I'm sure he doesn't mind.", Chaeyoung suggests as she turns on the speaker of her phone and puts it next to her laptop back. Then, she continues to check her email for any feedback from her client or any important email in the inbox.

"Huh, yeah. About that guy. Where is he? He always come here to get your things and leave so quickly. What did he do to you? Did he take care of you there? Aren't he busy with training? Jin told me he surely is busy for upcoming friendly games.", Jisoo whines about Jungkook to the younger one.

Chaeyoung nods to Jisoo's words as she takes her phone and texts Jungkook, "Yeah, he always leave early in the morning for training. That's why he can only come to get my things at night after he's done with his training. Did he disturb you, unnie?"

The elder shakes her head, "No, he didn't but I didn't get to ask him about you. He always say he can't leave you alone for a long time. I wonder why and kept thinking if you're alright or not."

Her words soothe Chaeyoung knowing that she is concerned about her. "Unnie, I'm alright here. Maybe you should get here now. I've texted Jungkook.", she tells the elder as she sends the message to Jungkook telling that Jisoo will come to his penthouse to accompany her there.

"You texted him? Okay, I'll be there soon.", Jisoo says as she checks the time on the wall clock.

Chaeyoung: Jungkook, Jisoo unnie is coming here. She'll accompany me here since she's bored at home alone. Is it okay with you?

He smiles as he reads the message he just received from her before replying to it. Then, he looks at the other message he received earlier before that.

Yoongi hyung: Hey, Kook. I got everything you asked for. When can we meet?

His eyes lit up to the message Yoongi sent him. He quickly replies that they can meet anytime after 6 when he is done with his schedule that day.

Jisoo goes out to the balcony of the penthouse and looks at the view in front of her eyes with an awe. Chaeyoung smiles seeing her spreading her arms out like Rose in Titanic except that Jack is not around to hold her. She walks quietly with a tray of drinks before putting it on the small table out there.
