I can be here

Jisoo quickly runs to the information counter leaving Seokjin behind as they reach the hospital. When she received a call from Nayeon fifteen minutes ago, she knew what it will be about.

"Jisoo, Chaeyoung is here at the hospital."

Jisoo was on her way home when she received the call from Nayeon who is her friend that works as a nurse at BSH Hospital. She quickly asked Seokjin to drive her there because she is worried about the younger girl. She does not know what is the story this time that she is admitted there again.

"Nayeon, where is Chaeyoung? What happened to her?", she asks as she sees Nayeon at the counter.

"Oh, Jisoo. You're here. You can go to the third floor. Room 327, she's there.", Nayeon tells her and she frowns as she repeats the floor to Nayeon.

"Someone brought her here and asked for her to be warded in a personal room. Ask Jeongyeon, she attended to her there.", Nayeon tells her before she looks for the elevator to go to the third floor.

The rain has stopped as Jungkook looks from the window of the room. While he is watching the outside view from there, someone enters the room making him turn around to see who it is. There, he sees three people which is one of them is the nurse, Jeongyeon that he already met half an hour ago.

"I'm sorry, Mr Jeon. This is the patient's guardian. Kim Jisoo and Kim Seokjin, her sister and brother.", Jeongyeon introduces him to the two Kims.

"Hi, I'm Jeon..."

"Jungkook! You're the striker for Seoul FC!", Seokjin shouts before Jeongyeon shushed him while Jungkook puts his forefinger on his lips.

Jisoo on the other hand, is a bit weird of what is happening.

"We don't want to make other people to hear you, mister. Plus, we don't want to wake the patient because of your loud mouth.", Jeongyeon tells him before he nods and says sorry to Jungkook.

Jungkook tells them that he is glad to see them there. When he is telling them not to tell other people about him being there, Seokjin explains to Jisoo who Jungkook is while Jeongyeon excuses herself to leave them alone in the room.

Once Jisoo is clear of who Jungkook is, she looks at Chaeyoung who is lying on the bed before she asks Jungkook how she ended up getting admitted to the hospital. Jungkook tells them what he saw from the park until to the roadside. He even tells them how she was so kind to help the small girl before he saw how fierce she was with Chansung.

Both of the Kims look at each other quietly as he tells them about the incident. Jungkook sees the way they look at each other. It seems like worriedness, their eyes show that they are worried about Chaeyoung.

"But, don't worry. I've already given the box back to the man's wife and told her to report his husband if necessary..."

Jisoo puts up her hand to Jungkook. "You've helped enough, Mr Jeon. Thank you for bringing Chaeyoung here.", she tells him before Seokjin nods in agreement.

"You can go now. We're sorry for troubling you. You must've been busy since the league is still ongoing, right?", Seokjin says to Jungkook.

"Yeah, but I'm free tomorrow. I don't have training or any important schedule to attend. I can be here..."

"No, Mr Jeon. I mean...we are here so you can go. We've troubled you enough for bringing Chaeyoung here and settled what she started. I'm sure you need to rest too, right?", Jisoo tries her best to make Jungkook leave.

Jungkook looks at Chaeyoung who is still sleeping on the hospital bed. He is actually hoping to get to see her when she wakes up but seems like he will not have that chance now. Her guardian is here. He is a nobody. A stranger. Just like how she addressed him.

He looks away and back to Jisoo after thinking through. "I'll go but I will come back in the morning to see her. Is that okay, Ms Kim?", he asks her.

"Oh, sure. Okay.", Jisoo answers with a nod before Jungkook bids them goodbye.

After a few hours of waiting, Chaeyoung finally opens her eyes as Jisoo watches over her. Seokjin has fallen asleep a few minutes ago so she let him sleep. When Chaeyoung turns to look at her, she smiles silently waiting for Chaeyoung's reaction.

"Jisoo unnie, where am I?", she asks while cluelessly looking around at the foreign surrounding.

"You're in the hospital, Chaeyoung.", Jisoo slowly replies, she does not want to wake Seokjin yet. She needs to be sure of who she is dealing with first. If she needs Seokjin's help, only then she will wake him up.

Chaeyoung touches her forehead trying to remember what happened. She feels herself so cold before she realizes that she was drenched by the rain. So, now she caught a fever.

"Was it raining heavily? I only remember it was drizzling.", she says as she tries to recall what she did before she ended up on the hospital bed.

"Rosé came out.", Jisoo says shortly. "There was a man here. He brought you here and put you in this room. He told me you were comforting a kid at the park, Chaeyoung. Then, you helped her mother to get back her jewelry box. Rosé did that, that's why you don't remember it, right?", Jisoo reveals what she heard from Jungkook about what actually happened to Chaeyoung.

Chaeyoung is stunned to hear what Jisoo just said. It has been quite a while for her to be able to control herself from letting Rosé takes over her body. However, it seems like she cannot keep the streak longer. Rosé appeared again now.

"I want to go home, unnie.", Chaeyoung says as she is worried that Rosé will come out again anytime soon. She does not feel secure if that side of her appears especially out of their house. She feels scared of what Rosé is capable of doing.

"We'll go back in the morning, okay?", Jisoo tries to tell her but she shakes her head in disagreement.

"I want to go home now. Not in the morning.", Chaeyoung says as she looks at her smart watch. She needs to keep her heart rate at stable level at least. That way, she can keep herself away from Rosé.

Jeongyeon goes to the counter to see Jungkook who is waiting there looking for her. She knows why the man is looking for her. He wants to know where Chaeyoung has gone to.

"Hi, Jeongyeon. Where's Chaeyoung? The patient I brought here last night.", he asks as he sees her.

"Uh, I'm sorry. She already left the hospital this early morning, Mr Jeon.", Jeongyeon informs him.

"I'm sorry. She what?", he asks again as he did not believe what his ears just heard.

Jeongyeon repeats what she said earlier to him. "Her sister paid for the hospital bill and they left right away. You don't have to worry about her because her fever is not that severe, Mr Jeon. The doctor also said she can leave anytime she wants.", she adds.

Jungkook nods before thanking her for informing him. Then, he walks to the elevator with a disturbed mind. He thinks of Chaeyoung's condition even though Jeongyeon said not to worry about it. He wonders why she left so quick and did not wait for him to come. He wonders if her sister does not tell her who brought her to the hospital. He wonders a lot about her even though she is just a stranger to him.
