appeared out of nowhere

Jungkook smiles brightly as he wakes up that morning after the first alarm rings. Usually it takes him the second or third alarm to get up from sleep but not today. Today is Sunday and it marks 10 days since he first came here in Shanghai for his mentoring duty.

He feels happy that it is finally his day off and he will see his loved one after almost 2 weeks they have not seen each other. He gets up and takes a long shower in the bathroom to get ready to meet her later at 12 PM as they promised last night.

"Oh, it's time! Unnie, thanks for helping me out. Now, you can go to your boyfriend and beat him in the game. Go, go, go!", Chaeyoung chases Jisoo away from the kitchen and leads her to the 'Game Zone' room.

"Seriously, Chaeng...", Jisoo stops before Chaeyoung opens the door to the room where Seokjin has been conquering since they arrived to the penthouse an hour ago.

Chaeyoung being her oblivious self as usual asks her why she seems to not liking the idea to play video games with Seokjin. The elder scoffs to what Chaeyoung was thinking before she crosses her arms. "The two of you really will just have lunch together, right? In other word, eat...while video calling?", there seems to be a hidden concern in the question she asks.

"Yes..just eat what I have cooked earlier and maybe talk about our days. But, I think he will do the talking mostly since he's been so busy there.", Chaeyoung answers while looking at her smart watch.

"Okay, then...I guess I got nothing to worry for you both.", Jisoo replies as she opens the door to the game room herself.

"Of course, unnie. You and Jin oppa too, please don't make me worry about you guys.", Chaeyoung says back to the elder making her asking what she meant. "I don't know. I'm just worried that you two will make weird noises while in there.", she tells Jisoo who is making a blank face thinking of what she meant. "Now, go already. I'm late.", she pushes Jisoo into the room and closes the door behind her.

Then, she goes back to the kitchen and gets the tray of food she cooked with Jisoo earlier to the living room. While waiting for Jungkook to call her through Skype, she sets up the dishes on the table before sitting down comfortably as she leans her back against the sofa behind her. When she looks at the time on her laptop, she plays with her hair that she styled in pigtails until she sees the name on the laptop screen.

The face that greets him on the screen makes him smiling wide as he waves back at her in return. He feels glad that he can see her face after all the voice calls they had these days. He admits that he is caught up with mentoring the kids in the TV program that his club's owner has sponsored for. He misses her so much, he almost shed tears seeing her face now.

"Kookie, what do you have there? Chinese food?", she asks him whole trying to see what is in front of him.

He chuckles a little before taking his laptop on his hands and moves it so it can show the food he has on his table from top view.

"I ordered this. It's called chǎomiàn or we call it stir-fried noodles. Then...I got some ducks. Peking roasted duck, I don't know if I'll be able to finish them all. Haha..and just a Chinese tea and plain water to drink.", he tells her before he puts his laptop down again to see her back.

When he sees her face, she is having her mouth opened like she is surprised with what she saw. It makes Jungkook laughing as he heard her said that his food looks delicious. He nods along before he asks her the same thing, wondering what she is having on the other side.
