After the dinner with Jieun and Taehyung, Jungkook goes for a night stroll alone at the park near his house. He keeps thinking on the offers that he got from England and Germany earlier. Their offers are great but he refused all of them without thinking further.

Every time he is called in for a meeting, it is always about the offers he got in which he will turn down them all. It is not that he did not like any of them but he waits for one particular offer from a different country. If he does not get an offer from the country he desires, he will reject it easily even though the pay is good.

"Hmm, why don't I get an offer from there?", he mumbles as he looks up to the night sky. "If I get one from there...I would have got to find eomma.", he adds before he sees a lightning up there.

Then, he looks down to his smart watch and sees that the weather forecast shows that it will rain soon.

"I have to head back home.", he says to himself as he puts on his hoodie and walks back to where he parked his car.

The girl beside Chaeyoung is still crying as she rubs the back of hers softly. It seems like the girl does not want to go back to her house yet. She cries about her parents' argument to Chaeyoung and she could not have done anything other than listen to the little girl's sad story.

She wants to comfort the girl but she knows she could not do it as she got emotional too. Even though her parents never argue like the girl's parents, she gets sad just by remembering them who were dead when she was just six years old. She does not have a lot of things to remember about her parents but she knows they were good to her and her sister.

When she hears a sound of thunder, she looks up to the sky and gets worried. It will rain soon and she has to go home. But, how can she go when she has a neighbor's kid who does not want to go home at this hour?

"Yeji, it's going to rain. We should go home. Your parents must be worried of you.", she says but the five years old girl just cried louder than before. Chaeyoung panics but she tries to stay calm. She cannot let her panickiness get over her or...she will appear.

"Yeji, don't cry. Come here.", she hugs Yeji as she tries to calm herself down. Her smart watch that shows her heart rate going up makes her worried.

"Can I come with you, unnie? I don't want to go home.", Yeji says in her hug.

Chaeyoung shakes her head. She cannot bring the girl with her. It is dangerous.

"Yeji-ah, your eomma will get sad if she knows you're not in bed. It's late now, I'll walk you home, okay?", she tries to talk to Yeji to go back to her own house. She knows how Yeji's mother loves her child. She always see her walking with Yeji to school or to the park. They are cute together. The problem is just the father. That is what Chaeyoung thought of the girl's family.

"Tell me, you love your eomma, right?", she asks the girl as they break the hug.

Yeji nods as she wipes her tears away. "But, I hate my appa. He always get home drunk. He smells gross and always hit eomma.", the girl tells Chaeyoung as she is about to cry again.

Chaeyoung quickly shushed her as she pats the girl's back.

"But, do you want your eomma to be hit longer? Let's go to your house and see how she's doing, okay?", Chaeyoung says as she hears another thunder sound which is louder than the previous one. "It will rain soon. You should be home, Yeji. We have to see your eomma.", she tries again to make the girl agree to go home.

"Okay but...if appa is there, can you help me chase him away?", Yeji asks. Chaeyoung gets flustered about it but she slowly nods to the girl's request.

Jungkook does not know why but he follows the two girls quietly behind them. He keeps a distance from them so that they cannot see him following them. They do not even realise that he has been watching them since they were at the park just now.

He wonders why the small kid was crying earlier. He wants to know the reason so he followed them in hope that he gets to know something.

When they stop in front of a house, he stays behind a tree at the roadside looking at them.

"Don't worry. I'm here with you, Yeji.", Chaeyoung says as she touches Yeji's hand, trying to tell her not to be scared.

Not long after that, the front door of the house is opened showing a lady who is in her early thirties in front of it. She looks at Chaeyoung before her eyes falls to her child beside Chaeyoung. She hugs the small girl and asks where she went to because she is worried after finding her not in her room.

"Yeji-ah, where did you go?", she asks her before her husband comes out of nowhere to the front door.

She sees her jewelry box in his hands and tries to grab it from him. However, he easily shoves it away before he walks out and hitting Chaeyoung on her shoulder a bit. Chaeyoung holds the pain she feels as she looks at the man with a sharp stare.

"Chansung, please! Don't take that away, please!", Miyoung says while hoping that her husband listens to her plea.

Yeji on the other hand, tries to hold her mother from leaving and chasing her father. Chaeyoung holds her hand too before she tells her to not worry. She says that she will help her to get the jewelry box back.

"Eomma, don't go.", Yeji says as she starts to cry again.

"I will go get it back for you. You stay inside with your daughter, okay?", Chaeyoung tells the mother as she sees her husband is fleeing from the scene.

Miyoung nods her head. "Please get it back, Chaeyoung. That's the only thing I have left now. Please..", she begs to Chaeyoung who is still looking at Chansung getting further away from the house.

When she turns around to see Miyoung back, she gives a smile to assure Miyoung that she will help her.

"Get inside.", she tells them before she walks in a faster speed to chase Chansung down.
