24 years later...

The young man that Chaeyoung has been waiting since last night finally shows up at the front door of the Jeon's Manor. Her maid that comes to her aid at the living room quickly wipes the tears off from her eyes to not ruin the makeup that she has on her face.

"Ma'am, your son is home.", Yoojin, the maid says as she points to the front door that is opened by the driver that fetched her son that morning.

"Eomma, hiiii!!!", Youngjun walks to Chaeyoung with his arms open wide to hug her and he lifts her up easily once he got her in his arms.

Chaeyoung lets out a little chuckle before asking the young man to put her down. Youngjun does as told and he smiles widely to assure her that he is fine.

"I'm so worried of you, Youngjun-ah. The news about the thunderstorm bothered me the whole night, you know?", she says in her sad tone.

"Eomma, I'm already here. With no injury or bruise or scar anywhere. Don't be worried anymore.", he hugs her again as he tells her that the flight he took was lucky not to be in where the thunderstorm took place.

"Still...the news said Manchester. That's where you stayed so I am extra worried about it.", Chaeyoung holds herself from tearing up remembering how her son lived alone in Manchester to finish his studies.

Youngjun pats her back several times before they release each other. "Now, you have nothing to worry anymore. I'm back for good and I'll work here in Seoul. That way I can always take care of you and appa.", he says while poking Chaeyoung's nose lightly. "Oh, speaking of appa...where is he? Is he ready for the gala?", Youngjun asks as he realized he has not seen his father yet.

"He's upstairs, he was reading when I came down here.", Chaeyoung tells her tall son who looks exactly like Jungkook when he was young.

"Let's go and surprise him.", Youngjun says but Chaeyoung stops the young man's steps.

"Don't surprise him. He has a weak heart, remember?", Chaeyoung reminds her excited son.

Youngjun nods his head, "I'll just knock on the door and greet him. Want to come with me, eomma?"

Chaeyoung follows his steps to the elevator. He helps her to walk for her steps are smaller than him. Luckily Jungkook has prepared everything when they moved back to Seoul 10 years ago.

Their manor has three floors and a basement so Jungkook has made sure that it has two elevators to ease the movement around the manor. He even hired a few maids to help with the house chores and cleaning. He makes sure that Chaeyoung does not need to do the hard things that can affect her health in their old days like this.

Youngjun knocks for the second time when Jungkook does not respond a thing to them. Chaeyoung gets worried of it and asks Youngjun to just open the door. However, the door is opened from inside before Youngjun could open it.

"Youngjun-ah..", Jungkook says as he sees his one and only son standing in front of his mini library.

"Hey, appa!", Youngjun greets while doing the same thing he did with Chaeyoung downstairs.

"Yah..what are you doing here? Shouldn't you be in England, son?", Jungkook asks as Youngjun puts him down.

Chaeyoung replies for their son, "Jungkook, he's already graduated. Now, he's back for good."

Jungkook looks at Youngjun in disbelief. "It feels like only yesterday me and your mom sent you to the university, Jun.", Jungkook says before he hugs Youngjun again.
