"Chaeyoung?", his voice of calling her name makes her realized how much she misses him. "Love? Is that you, my dear?", the way he addresses her makes her heart melt and she automatically forgets being sulky with him.

"Jungkook..", she replies while trying to not tearing up in guilt of treating Jungkook coldly.

A sigh of relief is heard on Jungkook's side before he speaks, "Were you listening? To what I told Jisoo noona?"

"What if I did?", Chaeyoung's voice cracks as she holds herself from crying.

"Chaeyoung, I'm really sorry. Again, I say..I am sorry for not realizing your pink hair. Honestly, that colour really suits you, Love. Was it why you can't talk to me that morning? You were dyeing your hair, is it?", Jungkook tries to talk like they normally do even though he can feel the difference in her voice. "I'm sorry I didn't ask this through text. You must be thinking I don't care about the changes you made to your hair, right?", he says as he does not want their conversation to be too heavy for them until it leaves Chaeyoung with guilt.

"Why didn't you ask?", Chaeyoung replies while being tapped on her shoulder from the back.

"Because...I want to hear your voice when I ask you. If I just ask you through text, I don't know how you really feel when you reply to me.", he answers with a smile. "I miss your voice, my dear. So, I save this topic to talk with you. You know how beautiful your voice is, you make me miss it for a day.", he adds as he is imagining Chaeyoung smiling shyly with his words.

"Yah, stop smiling! Take this and give me my phone back, Chae.", he smiles as he hears Jisoo's voice in the background.

As he heard that, he ends the call with Jisoo's number and goes to call his girlfriend's number. It takes a while before Chaeyoung picks up his call. He wonders why but he does not need to ask when Chaeyoung explains herself.

"Sorry, Kookie. Jisoo unnie was teasing me.", she tells him as she lies down on her bed.

He chuckles at it, "You call me Kookie again. Am I forgiven, Chae?"

"No, none of this is your fault. I am the wrong one. I'm sorry, Jungkook.", Chaeyoung replies. "I think I was letting my stress got over me. The current client I work for is so fussy. I hate this person, too much complaining and asking for changes. He's such a moron!", she expresses her displeasure to the cause of her cold treatment towards him.

Again, he chuckles at her complain as he finds it cute that she starts talking about the fussy client.

"He's a moron, huh? Tell me what he did. I'll listen. ", Jungkook tells her.

And so, they talk about the moron Chaeyoung hates all night before they both go to sleep.

Jungkook is on his way to go back to his hotel room when he receives a call from Lisa.

"Ayo, Lis! What's up?", he greets her as he enters his room.

"Hey, JK! I should be the one asking that to you.", Lisa's reply makes his forehead frowning. "I bumped into Hobi oppa and guess what he told me?", she adds just to give Jungkook more question marks in his head. "Where are you right now? I think we need to talk.", she asks him when he questions her what she really called him for.

"I'm in my hotel room. You...you're not here in China..right?", he finds it weird for Lisa, a busy resident at BSH Hospital to have time to take a flight to where he is.

Lisa says no before she tells him that she needs to make sure he is in a safe place and in good condition before she opens up the issue to talk with him.
