like a secret diary

None of them speak a word as they walk out of the cemetery they visited that morning. Only when they are seated next to each other at the designated stand to wait for a bus or a taxi, Chaeyoung opens her mouth as she sees Jungkook is about to hail a taxi to pull over.

"Can we...take a bus instead?", she asks him as she pulls his hand to sit back beside her.

"But...", he paused as he sees Chaeyoung shaking her head. "Okay, we'll wait for a bus.", he gives up as he sees the taxi passed them.

He sits back beside her and quickly steals a glance on his watch.

"I'm sorry if you got bored following me here. I told you it's going to be a long journey.", Chaeyoung says as she caught him glancing at his watch. She has told him that the location she is going to visit will be far away from Seoul yesterday. But, Jungkook still wants to come along to make up for ruining her actual plan. Therefore, here he is in Busan with her but he does not drive all the way from Seoul to get here. He drove as early as 6 AM to Seoul Station before they got on the KTX straight to Busan for two and a half hours. Then, they took a taxi to go to the cemetery where they spent almost an hour there. So, Chaeyoung knows how boring it must be for Jungkook to come along with her that day.

Hearing her words, Jungkook gets flustered with it. "No, I'm not bored. Don't get me wrong. I just...got a little hungry.", he quickly tells her before she can feel guilty again towards him. "It's almost lunchtime..", he adds as he shows her the time on his smart watch.

Chaeyoung smiles before telling him she can look at her own watch. "There's a bus coming in 10 minutes. We'll figure out where to eat for now, shall we?", she says as she unlocks her phone to check for the nearest restaurants they can find in Busan.

"Chaeng, are you okay? Where are you right now?", Chaeyoung giggles at the worried tone of Jisoo on the other end. "Yah, are you laughing at me, Chaeyoung-ah?", the elder feels offended hearing Chaeyoung's little laugh to her.

Because of that, Chaeyoung clears her throat to get to serious mode back. "I'm sorry, unnie. I'm at a restaurant right now. We're having lunch before we go back. Jungkook wants to eat the seafood here.", she tells Jisoo the details she needs to know.

"Haha, you talked like he's the only one who wants to eat there. Anyway, Chaeng. What time are you coming home? I'm sure it's going to be late since you've got company there, am I right?", Jisoo asks out of concern.

"Hmm...I think we'll head to the station after this. Maybe I'll reach home late evening, unnie.", Chaeyoung answers as she estimates how long the journey to go back to Seoul will take.

Jisoo hums in response, "Alright, then. I see you when you get here. Tell Jungkook to drive you home safely."

"Okay, unnie.", Chaeyoung replies before they end the call.

Jungkook sighs as he ends the call with Taehyung in the washroom. Right before he leaves, he looks at his face once again in the mirror to make sure he does not looked tensed or worrying. He does not want Chaeyoung to see his changed mood or anything. That is the last thing he wants her to see in him.

When he is sure that he looks calm just like how he was before, he walks out and goes back to their table seeing Chaeyoung happily munching her food.

"What are you eating? It looks good in your mouth.", he says as he sits across her. Then, he sees her stops munching as if he just said something wrong to her. "I mean...from the way you're chewing, looks like it tastes good.", he explains himself to her.
