two is better than one

Since the day Jungkook came back from China which is a week ago, Chaeyoung stays with him at his penthouse while Jisoo prepares for her wedding in her family's hometown in Gunpo. A few days before the wedding, Jisoo asks Chaeyoung and Jungkook to come to Gunpo to take a look at the wedding venue together. The two decides to go there two days before the wedding since Jungkook is a bit busy with some matters to deal with his club, Seoul FC.

Both of them arrive at the guesthouse that Jisoo suggested them around 1 PM. They walk to the front counter while holding hands, not caring if people recognize them. They have been doing so since Jungkook came back. For him, he does not care what people says anymore about them. But for Chaeyoung, she is still a bit shy sometimes.

"One room for us, please.", Jungkook says to the staff when thy are greeted and asked if they have made a reservation or not.

"No, two! It's two actually.", Chaeyoung corrects him while showing two with her fingers.

"No..it's one. For both of us.", Jungkook retorts while putting down one of her fingers leaving just her forefinger up.

Chaeyoung shakes her head slowly and whispers, "Kookie..."

"There you are! Oh, unnie. These are my bridesmaid and groomsman. Chaeyoung and her boyfriend, Jungkook.", Jisoo approaches the couple with someone and introduces them while keeping her voice low at the end.

"Jungkook?", the person next to Jisoo whispers back as she barely can see the couple's faces clearly because they wear matching bucket hats.

Jisoo nods her head before answering in whisper too, "Yes, that Jungkook. Both of you, let me introduce. This is Yoo In-na, the owner of this guesthouse. My old friend."

Both of them bow slightly to In-na and smile at her warmly.

"You guys came at the right time. I was discussing about reservation for Jin's family to stay here. Anyway, In-na unnie already prepared one room for you two. Right, unnie?", Jisoo says as she turns to the staff at the front counter.

"Ah...they're the couple for the Grand Room. Here's your key, ma'am and sir.", the staff takes out a key from the drawer and puts it on the table for Chaeyoung and Jungkook.

"Thank you.", Jungkook says as he takes the key.

Jisoo excuses herself with In-na but Chaeyoung stops them. "We still have a few things to discuss. Why, Chae? You need anything?", Jisoo asks as she looks at Chaeyoung's worried face.

"You shouldn't have reserved a room for us. I can pay for it myself.", Chaeyoung says in a low voice but enough for In-na and Jungkook to hear it too.

Jisoo slowly pulls Chaeyoung's hand to talk with her in private, "Ah...Chaeyoung-ah. Don't be like that. I told you I'll prepare everything for you guys here and what I'm doing is nothing compared to what you did. You letting me live with you without asking for me to pay any rent or bills, that's much bigger than what I'm doing now. This is just a small deed I can do to repay your kindness and trust on me and Jin, Chaeng. Let's not talk about this again, okay?"

Chaeyoung looks down to the floor before Jisoo calls her name.

"Don't be looking sad. I really want to have a good time for now until the wedding day. So, you should be looking happy too. You know I can't be happy if you're not happy, right?", Jisoo cups her face and pinched her cheeks playfully.

Chaeyoung smiles to the elder, "I can't believe you'll be leaving me alone, unnie."

Jisoo taps Chaeyoung's shoulders lightly, "Come on. You always leave your house these days. Don't tell me you're sad about it when you're happy at Kook's house."
