It is clear in Jungkook's face that he is not happy for these few days. Chaeyoung has not been speaking to him since the night she found out he has been contacting Chanyeol, her cousin. But, she never does anything more than that extent until today.

It is Valentine's Day and Jungkook has been invited to Jaehyun's birthday party at a club tonight. He does not feel like going but he still goes after being forced by Jimin and their other teammates. However, he clearly regrets coming since most of them bring their partners to the party.

The music noises and happy couples dancing in the club totally ruin his mood for the day. Not getting to celebrate Chaeyoung's birthday properly and not celebrating Valentine's Day with her today really torture him inside. Not wanting to be a party pooper or rudely leave early, he goes to the rooftop to wind down alone there.

As he is taking in the fresh air from there, he gets a call from Jisoo in which brings concern to him as he answers it.

"Jungkook, where are you now? Are you with Chaeyoung?", she quickly asks after he picked up the call.

"No, I'm not. Why, noona?", he asks back as he finds Jisoo's voice seems to be worried of something.

"Gosh, Kook. I think Chaeyoung ran away again. She left her room with empty wardrobe. Well, not completely empty but her luggage is gone and she took her plushie with her. There's also a note on our photo that she stick on the mirror. It said 'thank you', Jungkook.", Jisoo's voice sounds like she is on the verge to cry at the end of her words.

Jungkook's eyes widened after knowing it from Jisoo.

"Are you sure of that, noona? When...when do you realised she left?", he asks her as he tries to not be panic himself.

"Just now. I just got home from meeting Jin. I thought Chaeng was home but it felt different when I got into her room.", she tells him before asking him if they both had a fight or something because she knew Chaeyoung was not looking very happy these few days.

Jungkook denies her before telling that he will find Chaeyoung and bring her back soon. Then, he hangs up and goes to open the tracking application that he installed on his phone. Luckily he had installed it on Chaeyoung's phone too so he can use it to find her.

When the tracking app finally tracks her location, Jungkook is taken aback with the address that it shows him. It says that she is at the same club as him. He thinks it is a mistake so he runs the application again and it says that he is close to find the phone's owner there.

Following his feet to go down, he goes back into the club with the tracking application showing him the way to Chaeyoung. The club is crowded with people which mostly from Seoul FC, including the players and the management team. Jaehyun is famous for his birthday in the club because it falls on Valentine's Day. So, his birthday is always celebrated with everyone in the club since he gets into the first team five years ago.

When Jungkook gets inside the club which is full with people around the dance floor, he looks around to find Chaeyoung and sees a glimpse of blonde hair that probably be her over there. He gets closer and feels angry at the sight that he is viewing at the moment. There, he sees Chaeyoung dancing with a man no other than Jaehyun, the birthday boy.

"Chaeyoung!", he pulls her wrist to take her away from grinding her back on Jaehyun until she tells him he is hurting her.

He lets go of her when they are away from the dance floor with anger filled his eyes. Chaeyoung, on the other hand, has the same anger shown to him but for a different reason for sure.

"Shit, how did you find me here?", she asks him as she realized who he is.

"What are you doing here, Chae?", he asks her back.

"I'm sorry. Do you think Chaeyoung will go out looking like this, Jungkook?", the question alarms Jungkook for a second.

He looks at the clothes that Chaeyoung is wearing from top to bottom. Black cropped leather jacket, a white shirt, black jeans and black boots is totally not Chaeyoung's style.

"Excuse me, Jungkook-ah. Why did you pull my dance partner away?", Jaehyun's voice interrupts them.

Jungkook and Chaeyoung look at each other without saying a word that it confuses Jaehyun for a while.

"Do you guys know each other? Rosé-ssi?", he asks as he looks at them one by one.

"Mr Jung, it was an honour to dance with you but I'm sorry I have to go now. Happy birthday again, bye.", Chaeyoung quickly says before Jungkook can speak up. Then, she walks out of the club leaving the two dumbfounded with her action.

"Jae, I have to go now. I'm sorry I'm leaving early. Happy birthday once again, man.", Jungkook says as he taps on Jaehyun's shoulder before he follows Chaeyoung leaving the club.

When he reached out to the street and sees Chaeyoung is about to hail a taxi, he pulls her hand and takes her near to his car that is just parked at the parking lot nearby. He does not care when she asks him to free her and he does not care even when people around the street are looking at them. He only stops walking when they reach his car and he blocks her by making her lean against the car with his hands trapping her on both sides.

"What are you doing? Let me go, Jungkook.", she says as she hits his shoulders, attempting to make his hands weaker so he will stop blocking her.

"Chaeyoung hates taxi. Why are you taking a taxi?", he asks her.

"That's Chaeyoung. I'm Rosé, I don't have that fear.", she tells him as she keeps hitting him. "You better let me go before I kick you, Jungkook.", she adds with a fiery look in her eyes.

He does not budge with her warning, "Jisoo noona said you ran away from home. Where are you going, Rosé?"

The question makes Chaeyoung stops hitting him but she kicks him in the groin a few seconds later. He groans in pain but his hands stay on the car blocking Chaeyoung from going away. She had to push his hand before she can move but Jungkook does not give up that easily.

"I'm sorry. Okay? I'm sorry for not telling you that I have been in contact with Chanyeol.", he says as he grabs her wrist pulling her to not leave yet. "I wanted to tell you but I don't know how. I mean...I wanted to tell Chaeyoung about it. I really do, okay? Can you just wait and hear me out for her? Please...Rosé.", he pleads as he looks at her back that is facing him. "I don't know how else would I be able to talk to her. She's been avoiding me all the time and now she's running away? Please don't let her do that, Rosé. I beg you to hear me out.", he adds with trembling voice.

Honestly he misses her. He misses his Chaeyoung.

"You think I didn't hear you?", she asks as she turns around to face him. "I heard your explanation that night and I recorded it all in the phone. Chaeyoung listened to it but she chose to not trust you anymore. As much as I wanted to help you, I can't do it on this one, Kook. She didn't like the idea that you want to help her to get along with her cousin's family. I'm sorry.", she says as she pulls his hand to let her go.

Then, she leaves him crouching on the ground leaning against his car crying there alone.
