Two weeks has passed and Chaeyoung still never leaves her house since then. She only stays at home and does not want to go out even if Jisoo asks her to hang out on the weekend. Because of that, Jungkook is held into a man-to-man talk with Seokjin.

"I don't want to do this but Jisoo forced me to.", the policeman who just sent his girlfriend home says when he sees Jungkook coming out from the girl's house.

"What is it, hyung? You sounded serious.", Jungkook asks back as he looks at Seokjin who is leaning against his car.

"Did you do something to Chae? I mean...something bad.", Seokjin replies making the younger looks at him in disbelief.

He giggles while shaking his head to the elder's question.

"Why'd you think like that? I am being a good friend to her just like you and Jisoo noona. I haven't done anything wrong to her, I think.", he says while thinking of that one thing he did wrong to Chaeyoung. But of course, he will never tell anyone about it. Chaeyoung warned him not to or he will lose their friendship which is getting better despite the incident happened at his penthouse two weeks ago.

"Well..actually Jisoo has been wondering why Chaeyoung never want to go out these days. You know it too, right? Since you always come here to accompany her.", Seokjin tells. "We were thinking...if you made her scared to go out or...you made her like to stay home all day....you know, we just want to know exactly how is your relationship with her..", he adds.

Jungkook nods to his words before stopping him, "Before you think too much, hyung...I don't really know why she doesn't want to go out but...she did say she enjoy staying home. It doesn't have anything to do with me. We're good. As friends. Best friends."

"Just best friends?", Seokjin asks with a look of doubt given to the younger.

His simple question makes Jungkook to frown before he nods, "Just best friends. We do what best friends do. We do cooking together, eat together, watch the movies together...."

Seokjin nods and interrupts him, "Just like lovers do. You know like me and Jisoo.."

Jungkook's eyebrows knitted at the words Seokjin just said. "We...don't do it like that. I mean not the same way you guys do it.", Jungkook tries to deny what Seokjin is thinking.

"It's the same. When Jisoo came to my house, we cook together and eat together too. Sometimes we cuddle up to watch a movie. Some other time..."

"That's the difference! Hyung, we don't cuddle. We just sit next to each other and the closest we get might be her head on my shoulder, that's all. We're friends, not lovers, hyung.", Jungkook quickly stops Seokjin from talking.

"Yeah...but can you explain to me one thing?", Seokjin stops assuming and begins to ask Jungkook about something else. "Can you explain why Chaeyoung got a fever after she took care of you the other day?", he inquires the young man in front of him with a smirk.

Jungkook looks away from him as he clears his throat before speaking up, "I'm not sure. Maybe because she was too close to me. She was at my house for two days, right?"

"Mhmm?", Seokjin teases him as he tries to make Jungkook looks back to his eyes. However, Jungkook seems to be scared to meet up with his gaze so he giggles to the football player acting all awkward with him. "Actually, I have a feeling that you might have passed the virus to her. But...in what way...", he sees the alarming look Jungkook finally gives him as he paused. "Did you kiss her on the lips?", he says the question which makes Jungkook quickly shakes his head.

He denies it nervously to Seokjin while Seokjin just laughs at his flustered act. But, they become quiet when they hear an indistinct voice of Jisoo from the front door of the house they are standing in front of.
