"Finally!"

"We just started the car, Mark." Lucas deadpanned. The energetic boy seemed to not care as he was already opening a can of soda and gulping it down, adding a handful of cheese and onion chips in his mouth.

"Jesus Mark, get a grip it's like seven in the morning!" Haechan grabbed the pack of chips from his mate only to get eaten directly by a snickering BamBam.

"Youpf fheard fim , Mak." BamBam retorted with a full mouth.

"Ew! No one wants to shower with your spit you dirty cow." Lucas, who got quite a lot of BamBam's saliva on his face, raged.

"I'm sure you'd love to, Lulu." Lucas just stared at the platinum blonde, scandalized.

"I think you scarred him." Ten laughed, joined by Jimin and the rest of us.

This is about to be a long ass ride.

"The young ones rode in the other car?" Jimin turned to ask me as I was signaling to turn right, taking the woods road as it was the closest to the mountains.

"Yeah, I think Yeji is driving them."

He hummed, fixing the brand new Gucci sunglasses I recently got him and ruffling his curly blond hair on the rear view mirror.

"I really thought Jungkook was gonna come along." He softly remarked when I turned my eyes from him to fix them on the road ahead.

"Yeah." Was all I answered, not wanting to think about the alpha anymore than I already was.

Jungkook braced himself for what was coming up as soon as he entered the pack's car that Yoongi and him borrowed this morning.

"What the fuck was that all about?"

There you go.

"We're you actually sick or you didn't want to go to those cabins that bad?"

After a few moments of silence, Jungkook turned to face his brother who had a brow arched, waiting for as explanation from him.

"Both." He decided to say in the end.
Yoongi rolled his eyes and turned the engine one, not wasting another minute before driving back to the pack residence.

"You could've just told me, you know? I wouldn't pressure you to go if you didn't want to, kook."

Jungkook sighed. He knew that. But not wanting to go to the cabins was the least of his concerns at that moment. He was simply scared of what would happen if they did end up going there. Taehyung, Jimin, Yoongi and him were a recipe for a disaster.

Jungkook saw things this way: he knew his brother was hurting because of Hoseok back in the pack, and he knew of Taehyung's relationship with Jimin.
Yoongi didn't know his mate was practically dying back home and Taehyung probably didn't know about Jimin's situation with Yoongi.
That, he could bet on. That's was confirmed by his and Taehyung's phone call last night.

Putting two and two together, Jungkook decided to do something about it. He really couldn't help it, it's in his nature to want to help everyone.
All there was to hope for was that the feelings Jimin had for Taehyung were stronger than his mate-bond so he could let go of Yoongi and everything gets back on track.

And truthfully, Jungkook had absolutely no problem putting his happiness or health on the line for the sake of the people he cared about, that was a given.
He didn't need to wait longer before his brother finally spoke.
