"You seem a bit tense, alpha." Taehyung chuckled in the mind link he now shared with the raven boy.
They were both in their wolf form, skipping through the different sized plants to arrive at their destination.
Taehyung didn't know what took over him when he suggested Jungkook for his dare because he knew that Mark would end up giving them some weird one to do. But he found himself not regretting it one bit.
Especially not when the boy started undressing in front of him to change into his wolf form.
Jungkook huffed ignoring the other's remark and continued speeding after him.

When they arrived at the small stream which wasn't really that far from where they were, both wolves came to a halt.

"It kinda looks cold."

"You don't say?"

Taehyung rolled his eyes.

"Brat."

Taehyung suddenly changed into his human form and slowly approached the edge of the stream, dipping the tip of his toes inside before shuddering.

"Shit it's really cold." He muttered to himself but the tall boy behind heard it nonetheless.

"Good then, it'll match your personality just fine." The raven head stated before using his hands to push the other wolf into the waters.
A shrill scream made him snort and he followed the boy suit, diving in.

"You traitor!" The tanned boy shouted as soon as he emerged, hair sticking to his face and glaring daggers at the other's.

"You're such a drama queen. It's just water! It's not even that cold." Jungkook smiled sweetly before diving underwater then resurfacing. "It's quite warm actually."

Taehyung was too busy staring at the way the moonlight was caressing the raven boy's skin and making the water droplets sparkle on his body that he didn't notice the said boy approaching him until he was only a few inches away.

"You seem to enjoy staring an awful lot for someone who wanted to reject me so bad."

The words resonated directly into Taehyung's sensitive ears and he closed his eyes. He couldn't help breath in the scent that emanated from the other wolf. It smelled of grapefruit and sandalwood. And it was addicting.
He suddenly felt a light touch on his right cheek and opened his eyes slowly. It felt like the touch of cold flame, hot but not burning. And when he descended his hand delicately, it left delicious tingles in its wake.

Jungkook was watching his mate's reaction to his touches with passion in his eyes. It was alluring.
When he got to his neck, Taehyung brought his hand up and closed it around his. He brought them to his full rosy lips and let Jungkook touch them with the tip of his fingers. They were as soft as they looked, Jungkook thought.

"Why do you push me away when you clearly want me as much as I want you?" Jungkook whispered, his lips touching the shell of Taehyung's ear and the latter sighed longily.
It seemed like all of his senses were running wild with the presence of this boy and the fact they were both still in the water didn't help one bit.
He could barely comprehend anything.

"I don't want you." He denied but his voice betrayed him since it sounded more like a plea than anything else.

"You don't?" Jungkook quickly caught on what was happening and he decided to have fun with it. So he grabbed both of Taehyung's arms gently and moved him slowly, swimming until his back rested on a flat rock where he abruptly stopped. Taehyung slipped due to the shock and ended up pressed against him, chests touching and his head niched in the neck of the older. Jungkook had a full view of his mate's lean tanned back and even the beginning of his perfectly round bottom. He leaned his head until his mouth landed on the exposed part of Taehyung's neck and gently kissed it.
He left butterfly kisses on the smooth skin and heard the younger's breath hitch, waiting to be stopped or pushed away but it never happened.
Taking the brunette's reaction in, Jungkook moved his hands slowly from Taehyung's arms up to his shoulders, lips never leaving his neck, and descending them even slower down his hips, circling his narrow waist and staying there. He barely squeezed his hands when he felt a pair of lips on his own neck.
He smiled. The mouth was tentatively moving up and down, with hot breath fanning the wet skin, nose inhaling the scent where it was the most prominent, before biting it slowly.

"Tae.." Jungkook purred. His wolf was in ecstasy, especially when a pair of lean arms made their way down to his chest, fingers grazing his erected nipples that he couldn't stop the groan erupting loudly from his throat.
The sound seemed to wake both wolves from their haze as Taehyung jumped what appeared to be two meters apart from the raven boy, eyes wide.

"We- we should go back." Jungkook never saw someone move as fast out of the water and he didn't get the chance to say a word before the naked male turned into a giant grey wolf who quickly disappeared between the trees.

Jungkook shook his head defeated, coming down from his high. At least now he knows that his mate doesn't actually hate him. Right?

"You're sure?"

"Yes Alpha. Some of our wolves patrolling in the neighboring cities smelled them a few days ago. Three wolves, and it looks like they come from the south." Jisub, the head warrior, confirmed.

"Are they coming for the boy?" Beta Park asked to which Namjoon shook his head.

"He was supposed to be the future Alpha of their pack. Bangtan pack."
Park widened his eyes.

"I heard a lot about them. They are the strongest in the southern lands, and one of the oldest too."
Namjoon nodded.

"Must be really attached to traditions and such. I won't put it past them to try and harm the boy. When a member leaves the pack they become an enemy."

"You think they will try to eliminate him? The Alpha's son?" Seokjin asked in bewilderment. He already developed a certain affection for the boy and the fact that he may or may not be Taehyung's mate only added to this affection. The former wasn't really slick with his questioning and Seokjin quickly put two and two together. He just hoped his mate's little brother didn't do something he'd regret.
"Joon we must protect him!"

"He's part of my pack now so I won't let any anyone harm him. It's my duty as his Alpha."

"They are currently staying in the city a couple hours away. Do we do something about it?"
Solar, who was the doctor of the pack as well as a warrior herself, asked the leader.

"No need, we'll let them come to us first and see where we go from there."

The rest nodded in approval. There's a reason Namjoon was so respected as an Alpha despite his relatively young age and that was due to his wise and smart decisions. He was always at least two steps ahead of the others and rarely resorted to violence in seeking solutions.

"One more thing." The Alpha remembered, "Jungkook currently lives in the center of the city close to his college. Make sure he moves to the apartment complex with the rest of the pack. It's too dangerous for him to be alone there at this time."
Jisub and Solar bowed and left followed by Beta Minho, Jimin's father.

"Joonie, I'm scared for Jungkook." Seokjin rested on one of the armchairs facing Namjoon's desk when everyone left.

"Is there a reason beside what we just talked about, baby?" Namjoon took a seat in front of his mate, concerned.

Seokjin sighed, there's nothing he can hide from his husband even if he wanted to.

"Let's just say your brother might give the poor boy some hard time as well."
