"Jiminie! Come join us!"
Ten screeched while throwing his hands in the air, trying to get the blonde's attention.
They were currently snug in winter clothing, most of them struggling to stay on their feet while they glided over the snow. Some with grace and some not so graceful.
Behind the cabins was a small rink that was made purposefully for that matter. It wasn't a surprise since Taehyung's mother was actually a figure skater.
However interesting that was, the sadness that came with this memory always dampened the brunette's mood.
Many times coming here, everyone would immerse in skating together except Taehyung who would only watch from afar, never joining them.Taehyung had been young when his mother passed, but one of his favorite pictures he had of her was when she was skating in this very rink with his dad holding her hand as they both smiled at the camera.
Taehyung didn't remember much, but he remembers the pain. The pain of losing his parents, his family and memories.
The years may have passed, but the pain never did.
The cabins were both Taehyung's favorite and least favorite place.
He loved the memories he had with his brother, the pack members and Jimin here.
He hated the memories he wished he had still with his parents and siblings. It was just a bittersweet moment for him.
Jimin too knew about this feeling all too well since the years passed. Having lost his mother as well at a young age, he and Taehyung shared some of the most sensitive scars, making that was one of the main reasons their friendship was so unbreakable. They were each other's coping mechanism.
"I'm good." The blonde boy smiled at the cheerful black haired wolf who was constantly zooming past them, barely holding himself together from falling onto his face.
"You should join them Minnie." Taehyung's baritone sounded softly behind Jimin where he turned to meet his best friend's sight.
Taehyung came to stand beside him, he could feel the heat from his alpha wolf being more prominent than ever before, making the atmosphere surrounding the blonde beta warm and relaxing.
Instinctively, their hands interlocked together whilst they enjoyed the convivial scenery of their pack mates having fun.The serene atmosphere was abruptly broken when a blaring ringtone sounded from one of their coats' pockets.
Taehyung realized it was his phone that was ringing so he quickly unlaced his hands to grab it."You should really go have fun Jiminie." He said once he saw the name of the caller.
Jimin eyed the brunette but before he could ask anything a hand enveloped around his arm to tug him into the rink."Make good use of that skates will ya?" Ten laughed when Jimin struggled to steady himself at first, his eyes never leaving the fading smile of his best friend when he looked down at his phone again, distance between them growing bigger by the second.

"C'mon Jungkookie you should go join the rest."
Jungkook was sitting on the kitchen stall as Seokjin was preparing a delicious meal for Namjoon and him.
Yoongi having left yesterday along with Seojoon and Hyunsik, Jungkook could finally breathe again. Don't mistake him he was still feeling very much guilty but he knew he did what's best for his brother as well as his mate.
"I don't know Hyung. What would I do there?"
"What do you mean what would you do there?" Jin turned to look at the ravenette amusingly. "It's vacation and there's so many activities to do at the mountains. Plus it's gonna snow soon!"
"There's a lot of activities in here as well." Jungkook made a show of rolling his eyes even though he was just bluffing.
"Don't even try to find excuses, Jungkookie. You're not even sick plus even your brother went back home, you have no reason to not go and have a good time. Even the guys there are asking about you."
Jungkook sighed in defeat. He really didn't want to go there for the sole purpose of not seeing Taehyung and Jimin. He just wasn't ready to face the harsh truth head on yet.
The week worth of pain he suffered after he discovered them nearly sleeping together was not an episode he looked forward replaying."Do you think he'll reject me?" Goddess, Jungkook didn't know where did this question come from so suddenly, but something inside of him—which he guessed was the young and dumb wolf in him—longed for a normal relationship between his mate and himself.
No matter how many times he claimed that he was ready to let Taehyung go and move on, he still held on that small little flicker of hope that maybe it will work out somehow; that Taehyung will accept him and that his misery will cess.
But it was all wishful thinking after all, wasn't it?"I'm really sorry Jungkook. I can't begin to imagine what you're going through with this situation but I want you to know that your relationship with Taehyung will never affect your place here in the pack.
Namjoon and I, as well as the entire pack I'm sure, love and admire you.
And whatever happens with Taehyung, that won't change anything."
Jin's genuine smile warmed Jungkook's heart so much he found himself mirroring it without much thought. Something about the way Seokjin treated him reminded him of his own dear mother.
Understanding and warm.
Just what he needed the most at the moment."Okay." He answered finally. Jin, who turned to stir the ramen on the stove, did a double take at the younger's sudden agreement.
"Wait, really?!" His hopeful eyes nearly made Jungkook laugh out loud because Jin's face expressions were simply hilarious at times.
"Yeah, really." He shrugged, still smiling. "I kinda don't have anything planned to be honest, so why not?" Maybe he actually needed that escape after all.
Jin turned off the stove and quickly dried his hands on a kitchen rag, taking his phone that was laying on the countertop.
"Who are you calling, hyung?" Jungkook who was looking weirdly at a humming Jin, asked.
"Your ride." Jin answered with a wicked smile.
