Yoongi knew something was off the moment he opened his eyes. His wolf was restless which was what caused him to be up when the sun didn't even rise yet.
He shuffled a couple times in his bed without purpose, only causin his discomfort to worsen.

"Hmph.. babe I thought I wrecked your pretty ass enough and for the night, you want another round or what?"

Great, and now he woke up his mate.

"Hobi, I don't feel good." Yoongi gave up on finding sleep so he sat up, very cautious of the pain in his lower back, and faced his now awake mate.

"Mother goddess don't tell me your pregnant?!" Hoseok had a humorously shocked face on which earned him a slap from his grumpy boyfriend.

"I'm a Beta you arse! I can't get pregnant." Yoongi didn't know wether to act pissed of laugh at Hoseok's dumb expression as realization seemed to dawn on him.

"Phew I got scared for a second. But what is it, then?"

Yoongi frowned when he remembered the uneasy feeling that tickled him and he shook his head.

"I don't know but it seems like.. like-" a very loud howl was heard throughout the pack houses causing panic to settle in.
And before they knew it, Yoongi and Hoseok were already in their wolf form coming out of their cabin in a hurry of paws and heavy breaths.

"What happened?!"

"I feel like my chest is killing me!"

"My chest hurts!"

"Alpha! What's going on?"

"Everybody calm down!"

The Alpha voice ringed loudly through every house of the pack and all the werewolves within obeyed immediately. An eerie silence took over when the realization hit everybody.

"A member left the pack."

The words sounded so simple, yet the meaning behind was deafening. The weight of the loss was heavy enough to put some wolves to the ground. Some with shock, some with sadness and some with grief.

Never in the history of Bangtan had a wolf left the pack willingly. You either are banned, or dead.

The pain of the broken connection was so foreign and weighed heavily on every single wolf.

"Jeon Jungkook is no longer a member of Bangtan."

A series of whimpers and gasps ensured.

"He is thereby an enemy of the pack, and will be deemed a rogue wolf until he joins another or dies trying."

The words coming out of the Alpha's mind link were clear, but even he couldn't stop the shakiness of his feet.

As soon as the first howl left his throat, countless others we heard until the whole land and it's neighbors heard the wolves mourning their gone member.

He heard it too. As he was skipping through the thick forest at inhuman speed, tears soaking his black shiny fur. But he never stopped.

"You have everything you need, right?"
Taehyung rolled his eyes for the tenth time as his hyungs kept asking him the same question every two minutes.

"I do hyungie, I'm all set. Plus the dorms are only like ten minutes away from the apartments so it's okay."

Taehyung zipped up his last bag and took his phone out of his pocket.

"Taehyung.." Namjoon started.

"I'm just making sure he is ready! I won't be seeing him okay?" Taehyung was exasperated because of his brother's behavior. They talked and he accepted the fact that he won't be rooming with his best friend this year, but Namjoon was still worried.
