"it's okay"

It'd been just over two weeks and Draco and I still haven't had... that talk. You know, the one where he said he had to tell me something. Anyway, it's Christmas eve and we apparently have a special guest coming over so I guess I have to get ready for that. It would of been nice to just chill out for once, but we all knew that'd never happen.

"What a charming gown." My father smiled down at me, as I sent him an odd glare. Why was he suddenly being so nice to me? Where were all of the guests?

"Bethy." Draco's tone was urgent, dragging me into his father's office faster than I could handle, causing me to trip over his black suit leg.

"Damn it, Draco..." he smirked, but quickly shook it off and helped me up.

"I need to tel-" He was cut of by Lucius, my face probably just as confused as the inside of my head.

"Hurry up, we can't stall him long." My head snapped to Lucius, but he didn't dare to make eye contact with me... not even him. Draco gave him a nod, the mans long hair whipping behind him as he exited.

"Okay so, we don't have much time but basically I have a mission to kill Dumbledore in late spring/early summer and then fix this dumbass cabinet so death eaters can get into Hogwarts for the war." My eyes widened, taking in all of the information I'd just learned.

Most would be mad, but my first reaction was to give him a hug. I gave the troubled boy that I'd loved more than my own being my entire life a hug. I felt his gaze wash over himself, as he didn't even think twice before hugging me back.

"I love you, Draco." I watched as a tear slipped his eye, my sparkly nails quickly catching it. "It's okay, love." He gave me a small smile, but it quickly faded when his eyes fell behind me.

"He's gonna make you join me, stay calm." I gave him a look, turning as well... then I dropped the small glass I had just barely managed to grab.
