'You don't know how much you scared me, Park!' Baekhyun had taken the knife out of Jisung and was now wiping the blood off his back.

'I-i'm sorry...' He apologized to the older. Baekhyun was holding his tears in.

'I-i don't want you to die... like your brother...' The older hugged Jisung once his back was clean of blood and completely healed.

Jisung was spying on him like every day, with the only difference that he made a mistake that day.

He was observing the kid, who was on a walk. He didn't realise Chenle was in front of a car and that car... reflected his image.

Chenle saw him through the reflection and immediately turned around, too fast for Jisung to react since he was too busy staring. He waved at Jisung, making him come back to reality.

The human approached him. Jisung could just wait for him to talk to him, running away would be way too suspicious now that he had been caught.

'What's your name?'

'I... I'm Ji. What about you?'

'I'm Chenle! Let's be friends, Ji!'

Jisung already knew his name, but he didn't want Chenle to realise he'd been spying on him for months.

'Okay!'

'Do you like ice cream?'

'I... Uhm... Not really...'

'Why not? Everyone likes ice cream!'

Jisung stared at the floor shyly.

'I... I'm a vampire so I... don't really know what it tastes like...'

'Aww it's okay! I don't mind if you're a vampire. You still want to be my friend, right?'

They started being friends because of a small mistake, and they stopped being friends because of a huge mistake. Both of them made by the one and only Park Jisung.

When will you stop messing things up, Park?

Saying he was desperate would be an understatement. Jisung took his phone right after Baekhyun left his room.

He sighed out of relief as he realised he wasn't blocked. It was late at night, but he was determined to talk to him.

'Chenle..?'

'Hmmm?'

'It's me, Jisung.'

'Wait! Don't hang up!'

'Fine. You have exactly two minutes.'

'I'm really sorry for what happened before... I think at this point you've already realised... I... I'm the vampire you met years ago... And let me tell you, I'm really sorry I did that. I...
