'Pweaaaase!' Donghyuck gave Mark puppy eyes to convince him.

'Not again, baby. We haven't gone out for literal DAYS.' Mark said. However, Donghyuck didn't even move.

Mark tried to get up, but Donghyuck held onto him tighter and didn't let him go.

'Come on, Hyuckie. We've been here for so long our friends are gonna think we're dead!'

Donghyuck whined and shook his head.

'Just a little longer...'

'Baby, we have to go. We haven't drunk blood in-'

'No!'

Mark went silent after Donghyuck yelled at him.

'Stay here. I'm sore, take care of me!'

'But-'

'I will ask someone to bring us some blood. You stay with me.' Donghyuck said, emphasizing the word 'I'.

When did things get this messed up? Yangyang thought to himself. He was in the perfume shop, which had been closed for a few days. He wanted to leave so badly, but Kun would be mad if he did so. He'd already skipped some days to take care of Yukhei against Kun's orders.

Their situation in that moment was bad. They didn't even know if Chenle was alive, which was driving Kun crazy. Yukhei would have sudden internal fights with Lucas out of nowhere. Dejun's lab was reconstructed but there were a lot of things he had to remake and it was taking longer than expected.

Yangyang missed those days where Yukhei, Chenle and him were together. He didn't realise back then, that was his happiness. Now one of his best friends was in the vampires' hands and the other one seemed so distant. Kun became harsher to all of them, but specially to Yukhei.

A customer entered the shop and he had to play a friendly smile.

'Welcome to Qian's perfume! May I help you?'

'We can't get the police to arrest them? We know their direction, barging in shouldn't be difficult at all.' Chittaphon said, making Kun sigh.

'Since Judge Kang's murder no one has dared to directly cooperate with us. I can't force things, they are all afraid of being killed in such a cruel way.'

'Chenle?' Jisung said as he got inside Chenle's room. He didn't see the older on the bed, so he closed the door softly and searched around. Then, he noticed the bathroom's door was open.

His eyes widened as he saw Chenle laid on the floor, eyes closed and without moving a single muscle.

'Chenle!' He rushed towards the human, picking him up and bringing him to his bed. Chenle had thrown up and now was... Dead? Sleeping? Playing dead?

Right when he needed it, all of his knowledge in humans disappeared. He panicked as he touched Chenle's face and arms, trying to find out anything that could help him guess whether Chenle was dead or not. Oh, how he regretted not paying attention in biology class...

'Chenle... Chenle wake up, please!' He shook the older to see if that made him react.

'What is all this scandal you're making, Jisung?' An annoyed looking Jaehyun barged in, startling the younger.

'J-Jaehyun... I... I think I accidentally k-killed Chenle...' He started stuttering as he looked down.

'Again?!' Jisung nodded at Jaehyun's words, making the older groan. 'Jesus, Jisung. Can you stop accidentally threatening Chenle's life?'
