'We need to talk.' Jaehyun gripped Taeyong's hand tightly. Taeyong could have easily freed himself, but he didn't  He knew they had to talk.

The two vampires went to the older's room. Doyoung muttered an 'I'm going with them just in case.' to the rest and followed them.

Once the three vampires were alone in the room, Jaehyun decided to break the silence.

'Taeyong, I-'

'I'm sorry.' Taeyong swallowed his pride. His eyes started to get teary as he tried to hold back. 'I'm sorry for being so mean.'

'It... It's okay, Taeyong.' Jaehyun comforted the older by caressing his back. Doyoung was standing there awkwardly. He carved attention as well, but his stubborn self wouldn't let him say that out loud.

'I shouldn't have hurt you... I'm sorry. I... I just wanted your attention, I wanted you to insist. I guess I went too far...'

'It's fine, Taeyong. I forgive you.'

'Can you... Can you go back to calling me nicknames?'

'I thought that was a sex thing.'

'Jaehyun, be my boyfriend.'

That proposition caught Jaehyun off guard. He hesitantly looked at the two males in front of him.

'Taeyong, I-'

'I'm late, aren't I? You and Doyoung are probably dating already. I wouldn't be surprised, I constantly heard you two fu-'

'Jaehyun and I aren't a thing!' Doyoung blurted out. He covered his mouth right after and blushed. 'W-we're just... friends with benefits...'

'Oh... I see, haha... God, shit is going to be awkward...' Taeyong didn't know what to do now. He liked both of them. Though Jaehyun had gotten closer to him for a while and then suddenly both of them barely talked to him for a good period of time during which he practically went crazy and became a serial killer.

What to do now? He was used to fucking both of them, but he knew Jaehyun wasn't comfortable with such an abstract relationship. He knew for sure he wouldn't get in Jaehyun's pants until their relationship had an acceptable label. At the same time, he didn't want Doyoung to be left out. He had apologised to Jaehyun for being mean, but not to Doyoung since he didn't know what to apologize for because he hadn't done anything directly to him.

He hated being ignored by both of them. Call him selfish, but he was worried if Doyoung and Jaehyun got into a relationship they would exclude him and he wouldn't get to fuck either of them. He felt greedy for wanting both of them, Jaehyun didn't want an open relationship, so he had to be exclusive with him, but at the same time if he did so he left out Doyoung, who didn't specify what kind of relationship he aspired to. But if he had something with Doyoung behind Jaehyun's back it would be cheating, but he knew Jaehyun would want-

'Tae, baby, stop overthinking.' Without realising, Taeyong was already crying his heart out as those thoughts clouded his mind. Never had he been so anxious about his relationships with others. Jaehyun hugged the older tightly and Doyoung went near them as well, wiping Taeyong's tears softly.

'I-I don't know what to do... I know you want an exclusive relationship with someone, Jae, but I don't want to leave Dodo out and I missed both of you, really. I don't want to give any of you up and-'

'Shhh... It's fine. We'll find a solution, yeah?'

'G-guys... If I bother you, I can-'

'No! Don't leave!' Taeyong was suddenly soft. Something that hadn't happened in years. He was usually the tough guy who spilled no tear and showed no weakness. And here he was now, crying over his relationship crisis. 'Doyoung, I love you. Even though I never tell you. I felt so lonely without you two... And it hurt me every time you two did things without me.'

Taeyong was showing his weak side to them. It was understandable since he had been bottling up all those emotions in the past days. Doyoung cupped Taeyong's cheeks and kissed his forehead.

If one of their friends had seen them at that moment they wouldn't believe their eyes. Taeyong, the heartbreaker, being comforted by Doyoung, the one who hated affection, after asking Jaehyun, the one everyone knew was head over heels for Taeyong, out?

'Sorry, I was hurt and didn't know how to react.' Jaehyun justified himself.

'No... I deserved it. So, about us...'

'I'm fine with a polyrelationship if that's what worried you.' Said Jaehyun. 'What I don't want is an open relationship. But I don't mind sharing you with Doyoung.'

'So, what was your relationship with Park Chanyeol?' Yangyang had brought Baekhyun to their interrogation room.

'He was my boyfriend... Why am I here?'

'We need to know some things about you and Chanyeol.'

'Why are you interested in Chanyeol?'

'Chenyeol is here.'

'Where?!' Baekhyun suddenly got up and looked around him.

'Answer my questions first.'

'He's dead, I know it already. Did you kill him?'

'How come you, a human, got in a relationship with a vampire?' Yangyang ignored Baekhyun's questions purposefully. He was determined to let the older know he was the one asking questions and not the other way around.

'I told you before. Love has no race. Not everyone is like you, you know?'

'What do you mean by 'like you'?'

'I mean, there's a lot of people out there who treat vampires like they deserve.'

'We treat vampires like they deserve. They've been predators for centuries. It's time for humans to defend themselves from being eaten, don't you agree?'

'But Chanyeol and the others did nothing wrong!'

'How do you know? How do you know they don't go there killing people behind your back? All vampires have killed at least someone in their lives. Chanyeol was a murderer as well, you just didn't know.' Yangyang watched amusedly Baekhyun's face. It was obvious he was trying to find arguments to defend his lover. 'Or maybe you just didn't want to know.'

'That's not true! Chanyeol would never, I know it! Chanyeol actually respected humans. He never once hurt me, nor hurt those around me. He protected me and cared about me, he was a good boyfriend!'

Yangyang took a folder and opened it, showing Baekhyun a couple of horrific pictures.

'This. This was made by a vampire. It's not a random image I chose, I know that person. This man, his husband and son were murdered. They were cruelly murdered by a vampire. A vampire like your boyfriend. All those mutilations, the dismemberment of the bodies were made when they were still alive.'

'B-but not all vampires are the same!'

'Oh, yeah? And how do you tell whether a vampire is good or not? If they were easy to detect we wouldn't have so many murders in this town. Jails in this country are completely safe. Which means there's a lot of unidentified killers wandering freely who commit those crimes. How can you prove Chanyeol was innocent?'
