Jisung's cheeks reddened as he read the message. He hid his face with a pillow out of embarrasment, even though there was no one else in his room.
All of a sudden, a pair of hands took the pillow out of his grasp and covered his mouth instead. He felt a cold breath hit his neck and a pair of fangs threatening to sink into his jugular vein.
'Donghyuck stop. That's gross.' Jisung shook Donghyuck off him and turned around, facing Doyoung. The window was wide open and the cold night air blew through it.
'You're gross.' Donghyuck spat back, getting a sigh from Doyoung as a response.
'Anyways. We're going to spend the night watching movies and you're coming with us.' Doyoung commanded as he picked Jisung up and threw him out the window. Then, he and Donghyuck proceeded to jump off as well, not before making sure to close the window.
The night was cold and silent, Jisung loved that. Since vampires barely needed sleep he knew Doyoung was literal when he said they would spend the whole night watching movies.
'Oh yea and we gotta get the drinks first.' Donghyuck said. The three vampires headed to that place they knew so well.
They knocked the door and waited for a human to open the door. They were in front of the back door of the hospital to get their drinks. As expected, a human opened the door.
Vampires weren't allowed into hospitals as they weren't trusted by most humans to work there. It wasn't completely illegal, but to start with, most hospitals made sure no vampire would pass the tests all the medical staff had to go through.
Doyoung handed the human some bills, and the human gave them the recipients that contained the blood they thirsted for.
'Don't worry, Johnny. None of you will be harmed, as long as you collaborate.'
'N-none of us?'
'Yeah. Your friend witnessed your kidnap and we couldn't allow that. We don't want information leaking. When we chose to get you we didn't expect someone to be waiting for you at that moment.'
'Why did you choose me?'
'Because you might be able to help us, unlike other vampires. In fact, we don't even need the other one, so whether your friend survives or not depends purely on your cooperation.'
'Where is he?'
'Your friend? Oh, don't worry about him. He's still alive.'
'Did you torture him too?'
'Not yet. Oh, listen. Here he comes. I asked Yukhei to bring him here so that he keeps you company.'
A loud 'pang' was heard. Someone was fiercely struggling outside Johnny's door. He heard how the hostage resisted desperately.
'Mark?! Mark! Is that you?' He shouted. He could only hear a last 'thud', followed by a 'stupid vampire...' Yukhei spat. He tried to get up, but his limbs didn't respond.
'Seems like your Mark was a bit too problematic.'
Yukhei showed up into the room and walked towards Yangyang, his clothes a mess and blood on his hands.
'W-what did you do to him?'
'I'm sorry, I couldn't bring him here because he was being too troublesome.' Yukhei told Yangyang, loud enough for Johnny to hear.
'Well, too bad. We're gonna have to continue our conversation without Mark.' Yangyang looked at Johnny sympathetically. 'We need to know some information about you. To start with, were you born a vampire or did you turn into one?'
'Mark, please, stop thinking about him for a while.'
'B-but-'
'Johnny is gonna be alright, yeah? Let's just have fun for tonight.' Taeyong interrupted Mark and Jungwoo's conversation. They were all at Taeyong, Jaehyun and Doyoung's house. Well, except for Johnny.
Taeyong and Jungwoo were on the couch trying to calm Mark down, Donghyuck and Jisung were in front of the TV fighting over who would get to choose the movie, Jaemin was on Jeno's lap saying cheesy stuff and Doyoung was scolding Jaehyun for slapping his ass when he was grabbing a glass of blood and making him spill it all over himself.
Kunhang saw Yukhei harshly grabbing Chenle and the younger fighting back aggressively, kicking the door and scratching Yukhei a few times.
When he realised Yukhei's hand was stained with blood and Chenle had stopped moving he got so scared he rushed towards them to separate them, however his clumsy self didn't allow him to intervene as he tripped on his way down the stairs.
Chenle had to hold his laughter as he saw the older fall flat on his face while Yukhei got into the interrogation room to make their acting more credible.
'Nice acting skills, I almost thought you were hurt for real.' Kunhang had appeared in the middle of Chenle and Yukhei's 'play'. Chenle helped him get up and made sure he wasn't injured.
Yukhei didn't take long to get out of the room. Chenle gave him a wet towel so that he could clean his blood stained hands.
'A-are you saying this is all my fault?'
'No, not at all. I'm just saying if you hadn't ignored Mark's call he wouldn't have come to check up on you and therefore he wouldn't be here.'
'How could I have known you'd kidnap me, out of all the people in the city?'
'You're changing the topic. Besides, people who have been attacked by a vampire could say the same.'
'I've never attacked a human!'
Yangyang could easily read Johnny's body language.
He's lying.
'You have. You're a vampire who used his physical characteristics against a defenseless human.'
'I-it happened just once...'
'Just once? What would you say if I killed someone you love and then said I only killed a vampire once? How would that feel, Johnny?'
Call him sadistic, but Yangyang was really enjoying playing with the vampire's mind.
