Johnny saw Ten leaving with the rest of humans, so he tried to follow them. However, the leash prevented him from doing so. No matter how hard he pulled, the leash would tug him back.

'Taeil! Wait for me!' Johnny pleaded through the cloth that was in his mouth, but the Thai didn't even spare him a glance. He fought against the leash, but Taeyong didn't let him go.

Mark didn't take long to show up, jumping off the rooftop and standing in front of Johnny. He took the piece of cloth from Johnny's mouth so that he could talk freely.

'Johnny-'

The taller didn't let him speak. He enragedly jumped on Mark, making him lose his balance, and bit his neck like a dog with rabies. Mark winced in pain as he struggled to get Johnny off him. His neck hurt like hell, the vampire's teeth were no joke. He kicked Johnny several times, but the taller wouldn't let go of his neck.  

'What the fuck?!' Taeyong yelled.

The rest of vampires saw what was happening and Taeyong tugged on the leash to see if he could separate them, but as soon as he saw it wasn't working he gave up and stood behind Johnny instead, using all of his strength to separate him from Mark. Doyoung and Jaehyun immediately joined him and restrained Johnny's limbs to prevent him from attacking Mark again.

'You took Taeil away from me!' He yelled at Mark, as he tried to free himself.

Mark was shocked to say the least.  He touched his neck with the tips of his fingers and felt the cold blood coming out of the wound.

Someone offered him some help to get up, he took their hand and was pulled to his feet. He looked at the one who'd helped him, but before he could speak he received a hard slap against his cheek.

'Why did you lie to me?!' Donghyuck yelled at him. Mark looked down, he knew Donghyuck had the right to be mad at him.

'I-I'm sorry baby... I didn't want you to worry-'

'You didn't want me to worry?! You almost got killed!'

'It's not like that-'

'Shut up!' Donghyuck pulled Mark into a tight hug and didn't let him speak. 'I don't want to fucking lose you, do you understand?'

Mark discretely pulled Donghyuck with him and they went to a nearby alley so that the others wouldn't interrupt their talk.

Taeyong pulled Johnny by the collar, forcing him to lower his head until they were in the same level.

'Stop blaming Mark, he did absolutely nothing wrong.' Johnny didn't respond and looked away instead. 'Why are you so attached to that human? What did he do to you?'

'Because Taeil-'

'Ten is not Taeil.'

'But-'

'Ten. And. Taeil. Are. NOT. The same person.'

'But they-'

'Stop treating Ten like how you'd treat Taeil, for fuck's sake!' Taeyong was losing it. 'They're nothing alike, they don't look alike, they don't sound alike, goddammit Johnny, they don't even behave alike! Ten is manipulating you, can't you fucking see it?! He treats you like a pet-'

'Just like how you vampires treated Taeil!' Johnny received a first against his jaw after saying those words.

'You're mixing things up, Johnny. We didn't kill your exboyfriend.'
