Jisung cursed under his breath. He had stormed out of the house so focused in his anger he forgot to put sunscreen on. And hell, did he regret it.
As soon as the sunlight made contact with his skin, he started feeling an intense burn all over his body. His body temperature raised about one or two grades, enough to be worrying for a vampire. His eyes burned like hell, his vision was blurry due to his tears. He closed his eyes and ran to the nearest shadow.
Much to his luck, it was a sunny day. He wiped his forehead, his hand got soaked in acid. He curled up in a ball, trembling, trying to cover himself form the sun.
He knew he should go inside and put on sunscreen, but his pride didn't let him. He didn't want to talk to Baekhyun nor interact with him, and he didn't want to face his brother who would laugh at him for getting sunburnt.
Jisung, you genius, you're going to die! Your skin is literally MELTING and you're blinder than a worm.
'Dude, what the hell are you doing out there?' A hand touched his shoulder. Jisung recognised that voice.
'N-nothing important.' He said.
'Here.' Mark handed him a tube, but Jisung didn't react because he couldn't see anything. 'Oh, sorry.'
Mark opened the tube himself and poured some sunscreen on his hand, he then spread it all over Jisung's skin, careful not to burn himself with Jisung's skin acid.
Jisung felt an immediate relief, however, he still couldn't see.
'Putting contact lenses on right now can be quite dangerous. You'll have to get home with your eyes closed and when we get there we'll see how bad it is.'
'I don't want to go home...' Jisung whined. Mark saw Jisung's childish behaviour but decided to shrug it off.
'Go blind then, dumbass.' He smacked Jisung's head. He saw the younger had no intention of moving himself, and the older could easily predict Jisung planned to stay in the shadow until the sunset. 'Just kidding. Come with me. We'll go to my house.'
Mark took his hoodie off and ripped it apart, making a semi rectangular piece of cloth and throwing away the rest. He wrapped it tightly around Jisung's eyes and led the way towards his house.
Jisung blindly followed the older, his skin was recovering and his temperature went back to normality. He heard Mark unlocking the door and pushing him inside softly.
'You can take this off.' Mark said, pointing at the cloth.
Then, he remembered that Jisung could not see because of the cloth covering his eyes and took it off the younger himself.
Jisung wanted to rub his eyes, but Mark prevented him from doing so.
'Don't touch.'
The taller froze on the spot, not even daring to blink, with his eyes wide open. Mark inspected the younger's eyes and hummed.
'Johnny! Bring that bottle that has that thing to heal eyes! It's over there!'
Johnny showed up seconds later, with a small glass bottle that contained a transparent and liquid.
'Here.'
'Thanks.' Mark took the bottle and opened it, pouring its content in Jisung's harmed eyes. 'Blink fast.'
Jisung obeyed and his vision suddenly came back. He saw a worried Mark and Johnny... with one eye.
He then realised he hadn't seen Johnny for so long, his handsome face had now an eye patch covering his left eye. Good thing Johnny's fashion sense was good and he didn't look like a bad pirate cosplay. Jisung felt the urge to hug the older, he jumped into his arms and didn't hesitate to hug him.
Chenle admired Jisung from his seat, his sharp jawline and perfectly smooth skin, his pretty lips and innocent eyes, his fluffy hair... He looked so ethereal the Chinese wondered if he was even real.
He wasn't paying attention to the class, but so wasn't Jisung. The younger looked so immersed in his thoughts as he played with the contents of his pencil case Chenle perfectly understood why he never learn anything in school. Jisung was busy building a tower with a lot of erasers that surprisingly fit in the pencil case as Chenle saw him getting more from it to make the construction taller.
'Park, are you listening?' The teacher said.
Jisung got startled and accidentally dropped an eraser, knocking down the whole construction and making erasers fly in all directions. The erasers were scattered all around Park Jisung's seat. The whole classroom laughed at him, but not in a mocking way.
Jisung was the friendly, popular guy. Not even teachers got mad at him, so everyone knew the teacher would dismiss Jisung despite disturbing the class with his eraser-based architectonic project.
Everyone knew who Jisung was, although not many were close to him, to the point where Chenle wondered why he didn't know the existence of the taller until now. He actually knew the answer, he never paid attention to his surroundings. He barely interacted with people and, until Jisung had approached him after 'breaking up' with Yuta, he hadn't put his eyes on the taller.
Jisung was an attractive guy, Chenle couldn't deny it, although he wasn't sure the younger liked guys.
Tall, smart, athletic, handsome and nice. What is there not to like about Park Jisung?
And after various study sessions Jisung seemed to be even more attractive than before. Or was it because he had grown attached to the younger?
Chenle wasn't used to that, he usually interacted with people that were slightly or way older than him. But there was something about Jisung telling him that despite that clumsy and forgetful he was actually a mature guy.
He was so focused on his own thoughts it took a while for him to notice the guy he was thinking of was staring back at him.
Chenle blushed as he realised and looked away in embarrassment, covering his red cheeks.
