'Yangyang, ask him where Chenle is.' Kun told Yangyang. Kun was watching the interrogation through the camera from his office and communicated with Yangyang through an earpiece.

Yangyang asked Baekhyun about Chenle's location, to which Baekhyun responded by saying he didn't know where he was. Kun wasn't satisfied with the answer.

'Ask him again. I don't care what you do, but get answers from him. Even if we have to visit his friends house by house, you hear me? I want to know where Chenle is, at any price.'

Yangyang sighed at Kun's stubbornness.

'Baekhyun, do you know where they could keep Chenle?'

'Even if I did I wouldn't tell you.'

'If we don't find him Chenle might die.'

'Serves you right. You killed Chanyeol.'

'Oh no, Baekhyun. You don't know who you're messing with. You didn't understand what I meant.' Yangyang got up and approached Baekhyun. He walked behid him and whispered in his ear. 'If Chenle dies, they will too.'

Baekhyun gulped.

'W-what do you mean?'

'I wasn't planning on using this, but... I have no other options since you won't cooperate.'

On the opposite side of the interrogation room, Dejun appeared. There was a glass separating the two sides of the room, making it impossible to go from one side to another without exiting the room.

Baekhyun's eyes got glassy and his fists clenched as he saw what was right in front of him.

'Chanyeol...'

He ran towards him. However, the glass prevented him from getting closer. Chanyeol's corpse was laying on a table. He could have sworn he was sleeping, if it weren't for his opened ribcage that showed all of his internal organs.

'You already knew. But I thought it'd be nice to remind you about Chanyeol's current state.'

'Y-you're fucking monsters...' Baekhyun muttered.

'Maybe. Will you tell me where Chenle is now or do we have to do this to your friends as well?'

Baekhyun sniffled as he wiped the tears in his eyes. He was hesitating. What if his friends were killed because of his stubbornness?

'Y-you can torture me all you want... I already told you! I don't know where Chenle is!'

'But your friends do. And if you don't tell us, we'll have to pay them a visit. One by one. And let me tell you, we aren't really friendly when one of us is being kept by thirsty vampires.'

Chenle was with his dad in his car. They were heading home after spending the afternoon in the beach, having some father and son time. Chenle's dad was usually busy with work, so it was quite exceptional for them to spend time together. Chenle usually had to spend it with Felix, Jisung or alone.

They were practically alone in the road as it was quite late, the only sounds that could be heard being the car's radio which was on and their voices humming along the song that was currently playing.

Chenle's ears heard a faint siren sound far away. He shrugged it off and kept his eyes focused on the road. The car turned around a corner and, out of nowhere, a car ran straight into them, crushing both vehicles.

'This evening two cars crashed in the road that connects this town to the nearest city. The two vehicles collided due to a group of criminals who were running away from the police and drove in the opposite direction to escape. Two innocent citizens were victims of this crash, being a father and his underaged son. Only the child is still alive, as his only injury, surprisingly, was a broken collarbone. As to the criminals, three of them died in the crash. However, the driver and presumably only vampire in the group left the car right after the crash and ran away. All the bodies were identified, however the vampire's identity is still unknown.'

'Kun, turn off the TV and give your boyfriend some attention, will you?' He turned off the TV as a response to the lack of answer from his boyfriend.

'Chittaphon, you're always demanding attention.' Kun sighed as he felt Chittaphon straddling his lap and wrapping his arms around his neck.

'Whatever. Just shut up.'

'I still think we should make a smoothie.'

'Taeyong...' Doyoung warned him. However, Taeyong kept talking.

'What? He would be more useful than he is now.'

'We're not making a smoothie out of Chenle!' Jisung's fist collided against the table's surface. He got up and went straight to the kitchen.

'Fucking coward...'

'Taeyong. Stop. You're being a bit too harsh, don't you think?'

The three vampires stayed in silence. Doyoung and Taeyong were seated around the table and Jaehyun was on the couch playing with his phone and practically ignoring them.

Jisung was staying at their house for a few days. According to him it was because at home he was bored and alone since Baekhyun wasn't there and his father was busy with work, but they all knew the younger just wanted to make sure Taeyong didn't deep fry the human they were keeping.

Jisung knocked softly on the door, convinced he wouldn't get any response. He opened the door nonetheless and silently got inside Chenle's room. He closed the door behind him and placed a plate next the human, who was laying on the bed. He sat on the edge of the bed.

'You haven't eaten since you came here. I bought you some foo-'

'I don't need it.'

'Chenle, you're starving. That's not good for your health.'

'You're keeping me locked here and now you're worried about my health?'

'Chenle, please. Eat something.' Jisung picked some food from the plate with the fork and brought it closer to the older's mouth, to which he responded by slapping his hand away.

Jisung's hand barely moved. However, the slap was strong enough to drop the food off the fork. The younger looked down at those actions and he felt his eyes getting teary. Jisung immediately dropped the fork and left the room silently sniffling.

Chenle's brows furrowed at the younger's actions. Why was he crying now? He wasn't the one being kept by blood sucking creatures who could kill him anytime, was he? Chenle scoffed as he kicked the plate off the bed, making the food dirty the floor.
