"Dr. Ji, what is this?" Kun slammed the papers on the desk as the older flinched at the chinese's sudden action. "Yoon Sihye applying here? Seriously, she can't even do surgeries and just think about appearance - yet she had the guts to go in a fucking mental hospital?"
To say that he's mad is an understatement. He can't believe it's Sihye that's applying here. Of course he was informed about this event of Neo City Hospital - they send off their newly recruited doctors to different hospitals; may it be a mental hospital, a dialysis facility, or just a normal hospital around the city, for a month for them to experience things.
But the thing is, Sihye isn't a new recruit - she's in the main hospital for months and this is the first time she was actually sent to another hospital. Kun knew about this because he's friends with the co-CEO, but he also knew that that co-CEO was the reason why Sihye was able to participate in this event.
Well, the lady is a big flirt. And Kun couldn't believe that this friend of his persuaded the CEO, Kwon Boah, to send Sihye off to a hospital.
And the bad thing is, the CEO placed her in his hospital.
"We can give her a chance, Kun. I-I'm pretty sure she changed." Hansol tried to reason because he knew he fucked up for accepting the offer.
"A chance!? Heck, I don't even think she came here for work!"
That's when Hansol knew he made it a lot worse for saying that. Well, at least Sihye left for now.
Kun was enraged, he's taking care of twenty two people and now another troublemaker appeared. He sighed and slumped on the chair, pushing his hair back as he looked on the floor with stress in his eyes.
"Kun, I'm sorry."
Sorry doesn't return things back, but he knew more than to argue. Hansol sighed as guilt started to eat himself up. The male made his way to where Kun is, crouching down as he held both of his hands - caressing the back of it with his thumb.
"Kunnie-yah, look at me." Kun didn't at first, but he sighed before looking at Hansol. "I'm sorry."
Just before the chinese could say anything, the door abruptly opened, catching the two off guard.
"D-Dr. Qian, there you are." The nurse panted, "0107 is.. O-On the roof. W-We don't know how to calm him down."
Kun stood up, "What!?"

Opening the door to the rooftop, Kun panted with Hansol and Sooyoung trailing from behind. About five to six nurses are there and Taeyong is by the edge - already on the other side of the railings as the only thing that kept him from falling is his index and middle finger.
Taeyong smirked, "Look who finally showed up, the almighty Qian Kun of Neo Psychiatric Hospital. Don't you think it's time for you to resign after working here since this opened?"
Okay, first of all, he's the owner and he wanted to work here normally despite earning probably thousands of dollars a year. And second of all, where in the world did he get that information from? From what he knows, Taeyong was admitted here two years after the hospital opened.
"This is not patient 0107," Sooyoung commented, tapping on the iPad from who knows where she got it. "The additional symptoms aside from OCD is giving me DID, but I doubt he has that. His neurons aren't cooperating well this time unlike his first times here. The huge burn on his skin probably triggered him,"
Sooyoung pointed at the large red hue on Taeyong's left arm.
Kun took a deep breath and let the female speak, he took steps to where Taeyong is and felt his heart drop when the patient removed his middle finger from the railing - resulting in his pointing finger to do the work of keeping him from falling off.
God knows how can that work.
"One more step, Kunnie-yah." The patient threatened, "Or I'll let go."
Taeyong knows how disheartened doctors can be when they can't save a patient - which is why he's doing this right now.
"Psychotherapy doesn't work, medication doesn't work, should we give him DBS?" Hansol asked, looking straight at Sooyoung's focused state on the iPad with seriousness planted on his face.
Sooyoung sighed, "DBS could also work, but I would suggest TMS- though we still need to check if his brain can take it or no."
"Taeyong, this is not who you think you are. Please do me a favor and come here," Kun said softly, taking another step that Taeyong, fortunately, didn't see.
The patient cackled that both the nurses and doctors around knew there was a hint of sadness present there. "What's the point of living, anyway? I'm not getting better, everyone's afraid of me, even my own fucking family was disgusted with me."
"Taeyong-"
"God must have hated me so much," That made Taeyong's voice crack, he didn't want them to see him cry - which is why he let go of the last finger that was supporting him before he started falling back.
Kun's heart dropped and his eyes widened at the sudden action that just happened. He was about to run to Taeyong as fast as he can, to which he hoped he can catch immediately when a nurse beat him to it - grabbing the patient's wrist and letting his body hang loosely on the edge.
Everything happened in a blink of an eye. Kun was too shocked to even move from his position - but the nurse's voice snapped him back to reality.
"Y-You guys may want t-to help me here.."
Kun snapped back to reality and ran towards the nurse, with the other nurses doing the same thing as well as Sooyoung and Hansol who were caught off guard but immediately ran to where they are.
The nurse pulled him up, with Kun and the other nurses' help, of course. If it weren't for the nurse's spidey senses, Taeyong would've been on the ground by now - laying lifelessly on the cold road at the entrance of the hospital.
The patient cried, he admits he was scared at what he just did, but his tears were more on how the world can't accept him.
"W-Why did you s-save me.." Taeyong cried as Kun pulled him in a hug, "W-Why.."

i made things more confusing, didn't i?
btw, dbs is deep brain stimulation; it implants electrodes to certain areas of your brain that help regulates abnormal impulses. as for tms, it's called transcranial magnetic stimulation; it is a procedure that helps stimulate nerve cells in your brain to help improve symptoms of not just ocd, but other psychological disorders as well.
just in case y'all wondering ajsha
