Biting his bottom lip, the man gritted his teeth and slammed his cuffed hands on the table, shutting the officer off from speaking further as he sent them a glare. "I am telling the truth, they started attacking me after I wanted to just talk about my nephew and his psychotic acts!"

"Cut the bullshit, Jung." The officer snapped, gritting his teeth as he turned to look at the other officer in the room, curling his finger in as if asking for something. "If they are the first one to attack you, mind explaining this?"

"Ilsik, drop the gun. W-We'll just talk this out, y-you don't have to use the gun."

"No." A faint sound of the gun cocking was heard from the phone the officer was holding. "I like to talk about it this way."

Ilsik paled. This isn't what he originally planned. Hell, he was even shaken up at Sungchan and another mentally ill patient almost killing him yet the police insisted on questioning him after receiving the phone from the dyslexic kid. Not like he was given a choice to agree with all this negotiation shit, we already know that he's the culprit.

Silence followed for the next few seconds from the recorded voice, only for Ilsik to say 'come out now' in such a deep, sonorous tone.

The voice recorder was minutes more but the officer decided to stop there, "This may not be legal since they recorded it without consent, but since it was for good intentions and this is the only evidence we got as the witnesses are still traumatized. It was clearly your voice and probably Dr. Qian's as well, and the recording didn't stop until you pulled the trigger on a kid's shoulder."

"B-But I'm i-innocent!" The man's voice cracked. If Hansol were here, he would've snorted at how the man acted.

"Innocent until proven guilty." The officer stood up and took the phone as well, sighing in disbelief as he eyed the man that was obviously fighting the will to cry. "We haven't decided yet, but I overheard that you'll be up for trial. If guilty, then you're in jail."

"But-"

"God, Kim, shut his mouth up." The officer said before leaving the room.

Ilsik already knew what's bound to happen, the fact that there were many, too many witnesses and Sihye with their side, he already knew he's going to rot in jail. He has no one besides his lawyer, but he doubts they'll even last a minute there. Not to mention a concrete evidence -- oh he's fucked.

"Do you even have any idea that everyone that witnessed you besides Dr. Ji, Dr. Qian, and Prof. Yoon are mentally ill?" The only officer inside the room, as what mentioned earlier was named Kim, spoke in a low tone, hands crossed as she leaned on the soundproof walls.

Ilsik shot her a look, his eyes a little glossy as the light reflected from it. All of them are what?

"Mhm, that's what I thought." The lady could only give the man a hopeless look before walking out as well.

The man's heart tightened, Kun was doing a good job with his work, hell he even let Sungchan in despite knowing there's no cure with Renfield's syndrome -- it just so happens that he thought he was behind the cause of Sungchan's behavior because he caught them watching shit on his phone from that family gathering.

Shuffling on the bed, Kun was about to twist and turn around to feel the sheets and know where he is but was met with someone holding his hand tight -- too tight that he really had to open his eyes and see who it was. He squinted, letting the dark brown orbs adjust to the sunlight that was shining from the open window.

Kun used his free hand to rub his eyes, his bleary eyesight soon changing in a much clearer one and was greeted with a white ceiling. He looked around, eyebrows creasing as he noticed it was a hospital room -- funny thing was he isn't admitted or anything, he was just laying there and treating the room as if no patient was supposed to be there.

"Mm," Hansol stirred after feeling unnecessary movements, using the remainubg energy left to lift his head only to make eye contact with his tired-looking lover. "Hey, how are you feeling."

The chinese shrugged and sat up, his back sore for an unknown reason. "Better, I guess. Where am I? What happened? Did that son of a bitch go too jail? Is he dead? What about Hendery? Jungwoo? Yangyang? Jaehyun?"

"They're fine," Hansol softly smiled before standing up and making himself comfortable on the space beside Kun, settling himself inside the sheets comfortably. "You're in Hendery's room, both him and Jungwoo's surgeries are a success, better off the doctors noticed something about Jungwoo. As for Ilsik, he was taken in custody until the possible trial."

"Thank God," Kun whispered and looked around to see Hendery laying unconscious on the bed at the other side of the room, with Yangyang beside him. "But come again? What did the doctors find about Jungwoo?"

"Hm.." Hansol hummed as he tried to recall the recent report he got not long ago, trying to fight off the sleepiness taking over him once again. "They wanted to do a spinal surgery, though the consent is on you and Jungwoo. We overlooked on his brain scan and just diagnosed him with that one disorder related to Tourette's, I forgot what it's called. Once the nerve that was twisted around the other nerves cut off, chances are really high for Jungwoo to become normal again."

The chinese blinked and abruptly shot Hansol a look, "It wasn't a behavioral illness?"

"Turns out it wasn't. However, he'll probably lose feeling over his pinky or middle finger," Hansol grabbed a handful of Kun's shirt before pulling him down, immediately caging the chinese on his arms and snuggling his nose against the younger's hair. "God, I miss you so much"

"The decision and consent's on Jungwoo. Besides, we're in Neo City Hospital, it's not mine." Kun smiled, he was more than happy to receive news about Jungwoo not having a behavioral illness. Though it may have a bad aftermath, at least or was better than almost killing yourself everyday by hitting yourself uncontrollably.

Hansol just hummed in reply, darkness soon taking over him. It was the next day already, but the fact that he slept on the couch while being half-asleep the whole night didn't help at all. At least he get to sleep now, in a hospital, that is, with Kun.

"Hey, Han.." Kun muttered, taking one of the older male's arms that was wrapped around him and intertwined their fingers together, thumb caressing over the male's bigger hand. "We should get coffee later, I miss you as well."

Soft snores was what he received and he could only stifle a laugh, "Guess that's a yes, huh?"
