It was night time, the moon was high in the sky. Donnie and Nova were sitting on the ledge together at the harbor staring out to the water.

"When did the night stars become your eyes"

Donnie said trying to be romantic and trying to breaking the silence as he stared to Nova's eyes that were looking down to the water.

"Really I haven't notice"

Nova said in boredom as she turn to look at him. Another moment of silence fell between them. Donnie cleared up his throat getting Nova's attention again.

"You know I heard about what happen to Mikey and Raph. There was a harsh breakup between them four"

He said nonchalantly.

"What does that have to do with me?"

Nova asked with a raised eyebrow crossing her arms over her chest.

"Well, I notice you and the girls have gotten close. So I'm wondering that maybe you would know the reason why?"

"Again, what does that have to do with me?"

"Why are you being defensive?"

Donnie asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Because it has nothing to do with me, why are you questioning me"

Donnie remained silent as he looked to Nova trying to study her face expressions and tone. He knew for a fact something was wrong given the fact he spends most of his time with April, he was able to understand women's emotion.

"Are you planning to break up with me?"

"I think the question should be, when are you breaking up with me?"

Donnie frown in question.

"Since when did I deserve the attitude? I'm just asking a question"

"Since when is my name April"

She questioned back. Donnie froze and sadly looked down.

"Oh"

He said quietly.

"So we are breaking up"

He said finally in realization. A moment of silence past until Nova spoke up.

"Don't get me wrong, meeting you at first was pretty exciting"

She said trying to lighten up the mood. Donnie sadly smiled.

"Yeah it was"

He said quietly.

"Being in a new relationship means letting go of the past but you couldn't let April go or maybe she couldn't let you go"

"Yeah, I figured. It's my fault this couldn't work out between us"

"We don't belong together, at least not in this dimension"

Donnie couldn't help but chuckle.

"Yeah you're right. At least we can still be friends though right?"

He asked causing Nova to shake her head.

"Not even friends"

"What? Are you kidding me?"

He asked in surprise.

"I need to wipe you off the face of my earth"

"Okay then"
