It was late at night in the sewer home of the turtles. Ember found herself sitting on the couch as she looked to the ceiling finding restless sleep. She let out a sigh as her eyes caught a glimpse of Karai and Leo having a heated conversation as she soon ran off into the sewers. Leo let out a sad sigh as he made his way to the couch to where Ember was sitting.

"Kinda late for a midnight run, don't you think?"

She asked. Leo sheepishly smiled.

"Karai just likes to do her things, her way"

"What do you see in her?"

She asked curiously trying to understand this Leonardo in this dimension.

"Like everyone else the good"

"There's no such thing"

"It's called having faith"

He said with a raised hairless eyebrow.

"No. Faith is belief based on an absence of data. It invites disaster"

She said as she stood up. Leo snort as he rolled his eyes.

"You sound like everyone else, even they don't really trust Karai"

"Maybe you should listen to them. They see something in Karai that you became blind to see because of your attraction to her"

Leo became annoyed as he stood up.

"Listen don't tell me how to feel okay, you don't understand the situation and besides what are you doing up?"

"Couldn't sleep"

She said simply as she headed to the kitchen.

"Homesick?"

He asked as he followed her.

"Something like that"

"Maybe Donnie can check you in the morning"

"I'll pass. Be honest with me Leo, you don't want a girl like that"

She said as she grabbed a cup of milk. Leo crossed his arms over his plastron with a smirk.

"Oh and let me guess you know what I like?"

Leaning towards her a bit. Ember smirk as she placed her cup down.

"No but I know she's not your type"

"And what is my type?"

"From the top of my head you want a girl who is strong, who has honor, honest, open minded, supportive and romantic"

She said lowly as she lean towards him. Leo blush brightly.

"Y-you can really paint a picture"

"But I like action more than words"

"Something like this"

He said as he cup her cheek with his three finger hands as he planted a kiss on her lips. Ember gasp as she quickly pulled away.

"I'm sorry"

Leo immediately said as he saw the shock look on her face.

"I... goodnight"

She said quickly as she left the kitchen leaving Leo rejected.

*Next Day In Donnie's Lab*

"I can help you"

Donnie said.

"Are you sure? Because I don't want to be in the way of you and April"

Nova said in slight concern.

"Nonsense. She will be busy with Casey"

"And that doesn't bother you"

"Why should it?"

"I thought you and April were..."

She said trailing off as she set the map on the table of Donnie's lab.

"No no no, she just...I don't know, girls are confusing. No offense."

"Do you think I'm confusing?"

Nova asked with a slight smile.

"The opposite, it's like we already know what we are going to say before we even say it"

He said in amazement. Nova couldn't help but giggle causing Donnie to smile in return. Nova couldn't help but look to the corner of her eye as she caught a glimpse of an object on the desk. She walked up to it and grin as she figured what it was.

"Newtons Cradle Balance Balls?"

She asked. Donnie looked and smiled as she looked away.

"Yeah but I wouldn't touch it if I were..."

"Ow!"

"Nova!"

Donnie yelled as he immediately went to Nova's side as she suck on her finger.

"That hurts"

"Here let me see it"

He said as he grabbed her by the hips and lift her up to sit on the lab table easily and quickly went to get the first aid kit in a panic.

"Donnie it's okay, calm down"

Nova said as she tried to keep him relax. Donnie quickly opened and it and took a look at Nova's finger to expect any damage but saw there was no damage at all. Donnie frown but nonetheless gave it a small peck before smiling at her. Nova couldn't help but smile back at him. Little did they know they both lean close together giving each other a peck on the lips, Nova's eyes immediately shot open as common sense came back to her.

"I-I'm sorry"

She said as she hop off the table.

"Wait, Nova..."

Donnie said as he tried to stop her but decided to give her some time alone. Once Nova got to the room she was staying in, she was panting as she touch her lips.

"What happen to you?"

Vitani asked causing Nova to quickly spin around to see her sisters in the room.

"N-nothing"

"I call bullshit"

"What happen?"

Ember asked walking up to Nova in concern.

"I kissed Donnie. I mean we both kissed"

"What hell why?"

Matilda asked in shock.

"I don't know, it just happen. He was being careful with me and gentle. I...I don't know what I was thinking"

She said grabbing her head. Vitani rolled her eyes.

"Cry me a river, your not the only one. Ember here just told us that she also kissed Leonardo"

Vitani said. Nova's eyes open wide in surprise as she looked to Ember who put her head down in shame.

"It just happen..."

She said in her defense.

"It didn't just happen, the both of you saw your boyfriends in these dimension turtles which is why it happen. Plus if you ask me the both of you need to suck it up, so we can focus on the mission in hand so we can go home. We need to have a meeting and now"

Vitani said as she stood up and open the door making sure no one was eavesdropping before closing the door all the way. She then turn to face her sisters who gathered to sit on the bed, chair and hammock.

"Sit down, starts now"
