(kinda long. Enjoy.)

"I knew this was a bad idea." Virgil said, tightening his grip on Roman, who was holding Virgil.

"I know. I'm sorry." Roman said as he ran. The two were being chased by a wolf-man.

You might be wondering how they got into this situation. It all started earlier that day when Roman came running into Virgil's room...

"Vvvviiiiiiiiirrrrrggggiiiiiiilllllllllll" Roman sang song.

"What?" Virgil said, slightly annoyed.

"We are going on a quest," Roman said in a matter of fact voice.

"We as in?" Virgil asked, raising his eyebrow.

"We as in you and me." Roman said with a smile.

"Have you lost your goddamn mind?!" Virgil said standing up "this is a bad idea."

"It will be fine. Now get ready, we leave in 15." Roman said, before leaving.

Virgil reluctantly got ready for whatever this quest was. He put on a black long sleeve shirt, purple plaid pants, shin high leather boots, leather gloves, a steampunk type belt bag, and grabbed his dagger, putting it in the belt bag.

Virgil and Roman were now walking down a path in the woods, well more Roman was dragging Virgil along with him.

"Come on Virge it will be fun." Roman said.

"I still think this is a bad idea." Virgil muttered.

"It'll be fine. I have my sword, and we both know how to fight." Roman reassured.

Virgil gave a small nod, "Okay. You're probably right. I'm just overthinking again." Roman put his hand on Virgil's back reassuringly as they walked. "So... what are we doing anyway?"

"Questing."

Virgil rolled his eyes, "I know that much, but what is this questing we are doing." Virgil asked, making a gesture with his hands when he said 'questing'.

"Um... well I'm not quite sure. I was thinking of maybe fighting the dragon witch or something like that." Roman shrugged.

Virgil rolled his eyes again, "wow you really thought this through." he murmured.

"I can hear you." Roman said.

"I know."

"Well... let's get (festive!) questing!" Roman said, grabbing Virgil's hand, and walked faster, basically pulling Virgil with him.

After a while of walking they came upon the dragon witch. They were behind a tree so the dragon witch couldn't see them. Virgil just shook his head and started to slowly back up. Roman noticed and grabbed his arm to stop him.

"Nope we're doing this." Roman whispered just loud enough for Virgil to hear. Virgil sighed. Roman took out his sword. "You can stay here if you want, but I'm gonna kill the dragon witch."

Roman slowly went up to the dragon witch, while Virgil just watched from behind the tree. The dragon noticed Roman approaching and turned around. He took the chance to attack. He and the dragon witch fought. After a few minutes the dragon witch melted his sword with fire breath. Roman wasn't sure what to do, his sword was now useless, so he tased it to the ground.

Virgil started to panic. He wasn't sure what to do, and Roman was now weaponless. He looked down and saw some rocks, and got an idea. He picked one up and threw it into a bush a bit away. The movement caught the dragon witch's attention.

Roman saw the movement and thought that maybe Virgil moved When the dragon witch turned to the movement he got a little scared. Then he got hit with a rock and he looked over and saw Virgil in the same spot he had been before. He looked back at the dragon witch to see her looking at him. The dragon witch looked over to where Roman had been looking and saw Virgil.

Virgil noticed that he had been noticed by the dragon witch. He noticed the dragon witch's lips moving and realized she was casting some kind of spell. He moved back and to the side just as a ball of fire came flying at him.

Virgil barely dogged the fireball and was pushed back from the force. Roman moved towards Virgil. The dragon witch started to say a spell. Roman noticed and grabbed Virgil's arm pulling him out of the way as another fireball came flying.

Virgil stepped down on his left foot and winced and instinctively took the pressure off his foot. Roman noticed and picked up Virgil, and moved as the dragon witch shot more fireballs. Virgil rapped his arms around Roman's neck and his legs around his waist.

"What's your plan to get out of this?" Virgil asked.

"Uh not sure." Roman said, still dogging the spells the dragon witch is sending at them.

"What if we just run?" Virgil suggested.

"We? From what I saw you're injured and can't walk."

"Okay, you run." Virgil rolled his eyes.

"Yeah okay."

The dragon witch started to cast a spell, so Roman took the chance to run. The next thing he knew was that a wolf-man was chasing them. So that's what this dragon witch's spell did.

"I knew this was a bad idea." Virgil said, tightening his grip on Roman.

"I know. I'm sorry." Roman said as he ran.

"It's okay. I know you didn't mean for this to happen. Just remember this next time I tell you something is a bad idea." Virgil tightened his grip again, feeling like he was going to be dropped.

"I will."

"Um the wolf-man thing is getting closer."

"I'm running as fast as i can. It is a bit difficult because I'm carrying you. I don't mind carrying you. You're very light, and I love you." Roman said.

"I love you, too." Virgil said. Suddenly he remembered something, "Oh I just remembered I have a dagger in my belt bag."

"How's your aim?" Roman asked.

"Decent I guess."

"Okay grab the dagger and throw it at the wolf-man. Aim right in between his eyes."

"O-okay," Virgil stuttered. Carefully he took one of his arms from around Roman's neck grabbing the dagger. He carefully aimed and threw it hitting his target straight on. The wolf-man stopped and fell. "Okay we're not being chased by a wolf-man anymore."

"Good. It's getting a bit difficult to breath." Roman said, slowing down to a walk. "We're close to the castle, and it's getting late. We can stay there for the night."

"Okay," Virgil nodded.

"I will look at your ankle and foot. It's probably just a sprain."

"Yeah hopefully. It doesn't hurt that much, so it probably isn't broken." Virgil shrugged.
