Au- human, Virgil is 3, Roman and Remus are 4, and they are BFFs

Patton was hired to babysit three kids. He approached the house of the address he was given. He knocked. When the door opened he said, "Hi, I'm Patton."

"Oh good. Come in, come in," a well-dressed lady with blonde hair said. "I'm Miss. Princeton." Patton followed her inside. "Thank you for coming on such short notice. The twins and my friend's son are usually watched by the nanny, but he is very ill."

They walk into the living room where three kids were. Two were blonde with emerald green eyes. The other had black hair and light green eyes. The two blonde kids were holding fake weapons, and the black-haired kid was behind one of the blonde kids.

"Kids," Miss. Princeton called, and the kids looked over at the two. "This is Patton, your babysitter. Patton this is my son Remus," she pointed to one of the blonde kids who was wearing a green shirt. "this is my other son Roman," she pointed to the other blonde kid who was wearing a red shirt. "and this is Virgil, my friend's son," she pointed at the black-haired kid who was wearing a purple shirt.

"Hi," Roman and Remus said. Virgil hid behind Roman.

"Hi," Patton said in a happy voice.

"Virgil doesn't talk much," Miss. Princeton informed. Patton gave a small nod of understanding. She looked at her watch. "I have to go. Bye boys. I'll see you later. Oh, there's stuff in the fridge to make sandwiches, along with chocolate milk and juice. There are snacks in the pantry. I should be back around 5."

The boys were in the twins' room, and Patton was making up some lunch. Patton looked over to see Virgil's head peek around the doorway. "Hi," Patton said, waving at him.

Virgil squeaked and ran back to the room. Patton followed.

"Saw," Virgil squeaked to the other boys.

Patton walked into the room. He saw Remus and Roman putting their fake weapons, crowns, and candy bars into bags. "Where are you going?" he asked.

"To war," they answered. Virgil nodded.

"Aren't you Kiddos a bit young for war?" Patton asked.

"Do what want," Virgil muttered, barely loud enough for Patton to hear, and crossed his arms.

"Yeah. We can do what we want!" Remus and Roman said.

"And, if we don't go to war, who's going to stop the Dragon-Witches," Roman added.

"Dragon-Witches?" Patton asked.

"Yeah, they're a mix between dragons and witches. They are evil."

"Well, don't you think you can wait till you're all a little bit old before you go to war with the Dragon-Witches?"

"But who will fight the Dragon-Witches till then?"

"I think we'll all be fine," Patton said. "How about we go eat lunch? How does that sound?"

The boys look at each other. Virgil shrugged. "I guess," Remus said.

"Come on I made sandwiches with cut up apple slices."

They finished eating, and Patton was cleaning the table. He felt someone tug on his shirt. He looked down to see Virgil.

"Have chocomilk?" Virgil asked quietly and tilted his head.

"Sure, Kiddo, I'll get you some chocolate milk," Patton said with a smile. He went to the fridge, got out the chocolate milk, and purple straw sippy cup. He poured the milk into the cup and handed it to Virgil. "Here you go kiddo."

"Tank you, Mr. Paon," Virgil muttered, before drinking some of his chocolate milk.

"You're welcome, and just call me Patton."

"Otay."

Roman and Remus ran into the kitchen. "Hey Patton, can we watch Disney movies?" Roman asked.

"Sure Kiddos."

The movie finished. Virgil and Roman were sleep-cuddling on one side of the couch. Remus was on the other side of the couch, laying upside down, also asleep. Patton put a blanket on Virgil and Roman. He moved Remus, so he would be more comfortable, and put a blanket on him as well.

Miss. Princeton walked into the house, which was very quiet. She walked into the living room to see the three boys asleep on the couch and Patton on a chair, near the couch, reading a book about dogs.

Patton looked up, "oh, hi Miss. Princeton." he said smiling.

"Hello, Patton. How were the boys?" she asked.

"Oh, they were awesome. They did say they were going to go to war with Dragon-Witches."

"Oh, yes, the twins have been talking about the 'Dragon-Witches' for days," Miss. Princeton laughed. She opened her purse and grabbed her wallet. "Well, thank you for watching them. Here's what I owe you."

"Thank you. If you ever need someone to watch them, I would be glad to watch them again." Patton said smiling.

"I will keep that in mind. Thank you, Patton. As far as I can tell you did great."

"Bye-bye Patt-Patt" Virgil muttered tiredly, as Patton was about to leave.

"Bye Kiddo," Patton said, waved goodbye, and left.
