I lose bad

"One month?" Virgil asked.

"One month," Remus stated. "If one of you catches feelings for the other you lose." Roman was his twin brother and Virgil was his best friend. He could tell the two had crushes on each other but were in denial about it.

"Deal?" Roman asked, turning to Virgil.

"D-deal," Virgil said, a little hesitant.

"Remember no one else can know your relationship is fake. Not ever Janus, Dad, Mom, and Virgil's parents or his siblings at that. Only the three of us can know," Remus reminded. (Patton-dad- and Logan-mom- are Roman and Remus' parents)

"Got it," Roman said, while Virgil just nodded.

"Oh, um, my parents don't know I'm gay, so they can't know that we are 'dating' anyway," Virgil said, finger quoting the word dating.

"Okay."

Roman was your typical popular kid. He was liked by everyone/everyone wanted to be him. He was their school's quarterback. He had all the girls and boys after him. When he came out, he basically made it cool to be gay.

Virgil was the opposite. He was an emo outcast. His only friends being Remus, Janus, and Roman. Not that he and Roman really talked at school. His friends didn't know this, but he got bullied. He was also considered by most as a trouble maker. He constantly was getting in trouble at school.

There was a knock at the door of the twins' room. "Come in," the brothers said in unison. The door opened to reveal their dad, Patton.

"Hi, Kiddoes. I just wanted to let you know that was about to start dinner." Patton said. "Virgil, are you staying the night, or are you getting picked up, or do you need a ride home?"

"He's staying," Remus said.

"Alright. Do your parents know, Virgil?"

"My parents don't care what I'm doing," Virgil said. "They won't even notice I'm not there."

"What do you mean, Kiddo?" Patton asked.

"I have a lot of siblings." Virgil shrugged. It's true, he had 3 brothers and 7 sisters.

"It's true, he has like 10," Remus said.

"Oh, right, I met them one time when I was dropping you off," Patton said. "Anyway, I will let you know when dinner is ready." with that he left.

"Do you need clothes for tomorrow, for school? We should have some old clothes that should be close to your size." Roman asked.

"Nah. I always have extra clothes in my backpack," Virgil said.

"Why?"

"In case I decide to run away, or if Remus ropes me into murder or both," Virgil shrugged.

"You can't run away, Emo. I'll always find you. Like when you tried to run about a month ago," Remus said.

"Wait, Virgil, you tried running away last month?" Roman asked.

"Don't worry, Princey," Virgil said. 

-time skip(next morning)-

There was a knock on the door, "boys time to get up," was called through the door.

"We're up," was called back. Footsteps walking away could be heard.

Roman and Remus got out of bed. "Where's Virgil?" Roman asked.
