Au: half-blind!Virgil (the light sides don't know)
"Hey Roman did you know that Virgil can draw? Like really well too." Remus asked his brother. The two were both in Roman's room. They might act like they hate each other, but they don't. Even if they don't get along sometimes, but they are still brothers.
"Yeah right. I doubt that." Roman didn't believe his brother; he never saw Virgil as the artsy tip, so he doubted that he could draw well.
"You don't think he can draw?"
"Nope."
"Wanna make a bet?"
"What do you mean?" Roman asked, kind of confused.
"Well you don't think he can draw and I know he can, so do you wanna make a bet? Whoever loses has to give the winner something." Remus explained.
"Yeah okay, but what does the winner get?"
"Um, $50?" Remus offered.
"Sure." Roman agreed.
-time skip-
It's been about a week since Roman and Remus made the bet and neither have got the chance to prove they're right. Remus has even tried going into Virgil's room and taking his sketchbook a few times, but could never find it.
Right now the two over them were walking through the forest in the Imagination. It has been Remus' suggestion to go into the forest for a while. Suddenly they heard humming, and decided to follow it to see where it was coming from. They followed it to the river and looked to the right to see Virgil sitting by the river bank with his headphones, and it appeared that he was drawing.
"See he's drawing," Remus whispered, as the two move back into the tree line so Virgil wouldn't see them.
"That doesn't mean he's good," Roman whispered back.
"So lets sneak up behind him and sneak a peek."
"What if he sees us?"
"I don't know about you, but I walk up on him in the forest all the time." Remus smirked.
"You know he was going to be out here, didn't you?" Roman crossed his arms.
"Maybe I did, maybe I didn't," Remus shrugged. He started quietly walking towards Virgil. He knew something that Roman didn't: that Virgil was blind in his left eye. Since Virgil was blind in his left eye and he was approaching from Virgil's left he had a better chance to get close without Virgil knowing. If the two of them had come up to the river on the other side then Virgil probably would have noticed them by now.
Virgil suddenly got the feeling he was being watched, so he sneakily turned off his music so he could hear what's going on around him. He heard light footsteps, he closed his sketchek book, moved his headphones onto his neck, and turned to his left.
"Oh hey Virgey" Remus said in a voice that made it clear that he had been unsuspectedly caught, as he rubs the back of his neck.
Virgil rolled his eyes, "really Remus." he said standing up.
"What? I just wanted to get a look at what you were drawing."
"You could have just walked up to me like a normal person and asked." Virgil crossed his arms.
Remus' face turned to one of slit surprise, "I didn't think of that." Virgil rolled his eyes again. "So can I see your sketchbook?"
"Sure," Virgil shrugged, grabbing his sketchbook from the ground and handing it to Remus.
