"Did he just-"

Virgil and Roman were both sitting in the living room on opposite sides of the couch. Virgil was scrolling through Tumblr, and Roman was watching a Disney movie. Just then Patton walked in and saw the two. He knew they both liked each other, but were afraid to tell the other. Then he got an idea and the smile on his face grew even bigger.

"Hey Virgil are you free Friday night? Like, around 8 pm on Friday?" Patton asked.

"Yes?" Virgil answered questioningly.

"What about you, Roman?"

"Un yes, I am," he answered.

"Great! Because I'm not. You two go on without me. Enjoy your date." Patton said, before walking away.

"Did he just-" Virgil whispered, blushing as he and Roman looked at each other.

"Does this mean you like me back?" Roman asked.

Virgil blushed even more "yeah" he whispered barely loud enough for Roman to hear.

"So do you want to go on a date Friday?"

"Yeah" Virgil squeaked out, face now as red as Romans sash.

"I can't wait," Roman said, got up, kissed Virgil's head, and walked to his room.

When Virgil heard Roman's door close, he got up and ran to Patton's room. "Oh my god, Patton, I can't believe you did that." Virgil said, tackling Patton in a hug.

"So I'm gonna guess you kiddos told each other that you like each other." Patton asked, with a smile.

"Yeah. Wait. You knew he liked me back, and you didn't tell me?" Virgil asked, sounding more like a statement, after pulling away from the hug.

"Well kiddo, he told me not to tell you, just like you told me not to tell him." Patton reasoned.

"I guess that makes sense" Virgil muttered. "Anyways thank you."

"Anytime kiddo."
