Roman and Virgil had been arguing all week. Virgil decided to ignore Roman and not talk to him, or acknowledge his presence at all. Roman felt bad for some of the things he had said to Virgil and wanted to apologize, but since Virgil was ignoring him he couldn't get the chance.
"Virgil... come on just let me talk." Roman wined, going up to Virgil who had just left his room, and was walking towards the kitchen. Virgil just took his headphones from around his neck and put them on with his music blaring. "Ugh" Roman groaned.
The two walked into the kitchen. Patton and Logan had already been in there. Patton was getting out the ingredients to make cookies, and Logan was at the table reading a book, and drinking coffee. Virgil got some coffee and sat down on the open space of the counter, next to where Patton was starting to mix the ingredients together. Roman stood to the side trying to think of a way to get Virgil to let him talk.
After a minute or two Patton taped on Virgil's arm to get his attention. Virgil looked over moving his headphones to be around his neck. "Yeah Pat?"
"Well first can you hand me the salt? It's on the other side of you." Patton started, Virgil nodded handing the salt to him. "And second I think you should probably turn your music down. I can kinda hear it."
"Oh sorry," Virgil muttered.
"It's okay Kiddo. I'm just worried, because the loud music could damage your hearing."
Virgil nodded and turned his music down a little, putting his headphones back on. After a few minutes the hum from Virgil's headphones stopped. Virgil was confused and checked his phone only to find out it had died. Virgil groaned, taking off his headphones.
"What's wrong kiddo?" Patton asked.
"My phone died." Virgil answered muttering.
"Well you can help me with the cookies if you want." Patton offered.
Virgil shrugged "sure." he took off his headphones and put them and his phone on the counter where he had been sitting after he stood up.
-time skip-
Virgil finished helping Patton with the cookies, and went to the living room. He put on some random show about the paranormal. After a moment Roman noticed he left the kitchen and joined him in the living room.
Roman waited a few minutes before trying to talk to Virgil. "Hey Virge, I know you don't want to talk to me right now, but um, well-" he cleared his throat, "Virgil, I just wanted to apologize for the things I said to you earlier this week."
"Apology exempted." Virgil said, he turned to Roman, "I'm sorry for some stuff I said as well." he muttered before looking back at the TV. "Now, please shut up. I can't stand how appealing your voice sounds."
Roman smiled, "you find my voice appealing?" he teased.
"Yeah, yeah whatever, now shut up." Virgil muttered embarrassment and annoyance.
(This probably isn't that good, but that's fine.)
